Ukraine Protests

Russia immediately submitted satellite imagery after the crash when no one else could or would.

Now two "individual sleuths" come out almost a year later to say they are fake? Lmao

Don't ever talk about global research again after posting nonsense like this..

Wait wait wait. You are the same guy who hates on the US for having its ducks in a row on presentations on global affairs. Now when Russia does it it is ok? And did you check out with the "sleuths" did? That is some of the easiest things to check on an image file is how doctored it is by Photoshop. Added text reads as one thing, additions adds a couple other pieces of data. Don't be so quick to cast stones.

What's even more amusing is that we have clowns trying to autheticate the evidence that Russia provided within days of the crash that included satellite images, yet no one in that group seems to have the time to authenticate the Twitter/Facebook/social media "evidence" that Maria Harf and the State Department provided.

Give us an example of a misfired "shot" the U.S. government called this past month.

I would say having Victoria Nuland involved in nominating Petro Poroshenko for a Nobel Peace Prize, but why do you want to just narrow it to just mistakes made in the past 30 days? There's about 18 months of blunders we can pick on.

You're getting a little hot around the collar these days, aren't you, Ras? What with the inability of Putin to come to the aide of his allies and your authoritarian dreamboys.

As it turns out, a Russian promise is worth nothing.

But my god does he sound and look good saying absolutely nothing.

Of course you knew all of this.

Of course.

Because you're so smart.

I googled to find out more about this alleged story. Only in pro-Russian outlets. Big surprise.

Even Sputnik casts doubt about the authenticity of the supposed letter.

Regardless of the authenticity of the document, it is remains to be seen who is going to be nominated for 2015 Nobel Peace Prize and especially whether Poroshenko's name is in the mix.

Well if its pro-Russian, then it must be false. No where near the journalistic credibility that we have here in the US.

they have to an extent. a lot of the photos with Russian tanks have been authenticated as far as date and location goes. I remember a couple times where the reports were corrected on such big mistakes as (i will probably get the nomenclature wrong) the gov saying T-72b's when they were actually t-72c's or some world shaking fact like that. no one wants to report what people got right because that isn't news worthy. and that makes great news "In today's headlines we would like to report that the report we issued last was indeed correct. Go us, this marks the second time this month we have been correct which I believe gets us all a bonus. Moving on to the next topic: "Cats in Trashcans" and other great YouTube videos."

I find the ability of the Russian govt. and press to leave no stone unturned (unless it negatively portrays them of course) in every little thing that happens in the conflict of West v. East just breathtaking. A case in point below. Here we have the foreign ministry sanctioning numerous Europeans (no problem) and then portraying itself as the victim when the members of the list come to light (big problem). Apparently the foreign ministry wanted to help these people avoid as much pain and hardship as possible out of the goodness of its own heart and then the evil West had to go and post the names.

No matter how buffoonish the attempts, as indeed the majority of them inevitably are, you have to admit it's just breathtaking to watch those folks in action. I don't know how else to describe it. I've never seen anything quite like it.

As a foreign policy matter (and more so domestic politics) who really cares who wins the Nobel Peace Prize?

In a 6 year long study, conducted just days ago, by the Varoslavl Institute for Best World Initiative and Other Important Things, researchers found that, shockingly, in 9 out of 12 cases over the last two decades US-nominated Nobel Peace Prize winners went on to successfully depose peaceful, non-corrupt, completely democratically-elected leaders of foreign nations perceived as "hostile" to US ambitions of global hegemony. Out of the three others, two were thwarted in their attempts by Russian intelligence agents and another died in mysterious circumstances, possibly the result of US foulplay.

Folks, this is serious, and we need to be aware of what's really at stake here in this nomination of Poroshenko.

The Russian Foreign Ministry has expressed disappointment at their Western colleagues for publicizing lists of people subject to personal sanctions in Russia. They called such measures a threat to mutual trust.
snowden.

awesome that we can include the Fins in our ever expanding sphere of media bull hockey.

Wait, these officials are miffed because someone published a list of whom Russia is punishing?

Kim Jung Un decided not to visit Moscow this past month because, in preparation for his trip, he started keeping abreast of Russian media. He apparently wanted to be well-informed for his diplomatic trip, like any world leader not wishing to look out of place. A "when in Rome" sort of thing, if you will.

After reading a few headlines and articles from Russian news outlets, Kim decided he had to promptly cancel his trip because, and I quote, "These people are crazy."

yeah they wanted the people to know they were being punished but didn't want everyone to know they were being punished.

Wondering what the point is? They think it's easier to influence those on the list when they don't know about the others?

Like when a principal brings students in one at a time rather than a big group?

The list with 89 names has now been shared by the Russian authorities. We don't have any other information on legal basis, criteria and process of this decision. We consider this measure as totally arbitrary and unjustified, especially in the absence of any further clarification and transparency.

Arbitrary and unjustified??? Doesn't the EU remember that they were the ones that sanctioned Russia first? Why act surprised and sanctimonious when Russia recipricates?

yeah those sanctioned in Russia have deep ties (MONEY) with Putin. don't go acting like this was John Doe in Moscow that got sanctioned by the EU. I don't know the list of sanctioned people by Russia but lets pretend it wasn't a list of randomly chosen people who had spoken out against Putin.

click baiting much?

Soros lays out his ongoing relationship with Ukrainian President Victor Poroshenko, and how his close ties with U.S. Treasury Secretary Jack Lew could aid in both funding Ukraine's insolvent banking system, and in providing them military aid from Washington.
a billionaire that knows the Treasury Secretary? GASP! and he also agrees with a lot of us here in this thread that we should arm Ukraine. GASP!

He is confident that the US should provide Ukraine with lethal military assistance, “with same level of sophistication in defense weapons to match the level of opposing force.”
yup seems real nefarious. you have finally connected the dots. i love the bit thrown in on his connections to Baltimore and Ferguson.
