lol, so the advice he is following is spend more so you can sell more. right, doesn't sound like America at all.

Como? Reading comprehension...

He also stressed the importance of boosting budget spending, quoting Benjamin Franklin: “Buy what thou hast no need of and ere long thou shalt sell thy necessities”. So the Prime Minister says “Every ruble should be spent utmost effectively”.

Russia has little debt. The USSA has $18 trillion of debt. Which country is strategically prepared for the next economic bounce?

care to comment on any of the other basic Russian "Freedom Acts"

-limits on peaceful protests
-limits on driving rights based on sexual preference and loss of limb
-limit on free speech on the internet
-limit on how much one can speak out against the government

yes please go on about how Russia is more American than America.

Of course Russia is going to look less "free" compared to America. They actually have rules and consequences that are to the benefit of all, not some..

This country's govt, with it's ever liberal, anything goes attitude is disgusting to me. Pets will be counted as voters next.

I'm trying to imagine someone typing this with a straight face.

Having difficulty doing so.

I tend to think responses like what I'm about to make are lame, but...

If you have a problem with recognizing the rights of women, homosexuals, the disabled, religious minorities, individual speech/press, etc., then get your sorry ass out of this country.

As I've said before, there's no room for neo-Nazis (real ones; not the fake ones like Russians are always screaming about) here.

lol, part of that quote from Franklin is "buy what you have no need of" sounds fiscally responsible to me. if we had stayed a colony Franklin would have been a landed lord in the British system, who had money to throw around. and going from an obscure quote from Franklin (i have never heard it before at least) to how he helped set up the government don't match up at all.

and while i would agree we waste too much money by the very use of America, anything America does is going to be the most American thing. thats something you still don't seem to understand. one man does not define our government yet alone our nation. and i think that is one of the things the founding fathers fought for, that there was no king to define what America was by his own actions.

Franklin? That article he linked is about Franklin? (I didn't bother reading, because I figured it was more evil.)

Let me tell you all something about Franklin. He was too busy enriching the pockets of Paris brothels and impregnating Parisian whores to ever have a sound fiscal policy.

well if that was what the founding fathers did that's what we as red blooded americans should be doing.

and yeah the article had a random quote they used to defend Russia's (sounder) fiscal policy. they never went into their Finance Minister or whoever saying/using the quote. they just randomly associated the quote with what the Russians are doing, you could do the same thing any number of ways. i have found in reading a lot of their linked articles that they are self defeating, or aiming at completely different targets from what normal people would do. its almost never straight line thinking.

Its sad that the spirit of the Founding Fathers lies in Russia and is extinct here at home.

So Pacer92, what is an example of a law Russia has, which America doesn't, which benefits all the people?

do you read your own articles? or at least pay more attention to the actual quotes than what the opinion piece says? (and yes in this and many cases RT has been little more than opinion pieces, at least this time there is an actual quote to start from)

“Certainly, there are people with different views who could pose a certain threat. Probably, there are unofficial groups sharing such [extremist] views, but in this case we deal with individual cases. Ultra-radical groups and organizations are neither registered, nor identified [in Ukraine],” Vovk said.

Right Sektor IS an official group... Who is really arguing that they don't exist or are not official?

Good luck.

It's about like expecting either of those two fishbowl turds to respond to posts about Dugin's geopolitics being standard teaching in Russian military academies.

Although, now that you've really called him out, he'll probably come up with some bullcrap response that Ras can give a like, and they can both feel good about themselves.

Life in the country that benefits everyone.

After workers asked Putin for help, corruption uncovered - The Washington Post

Some of the construction workers have not been paid since December, and they have staged several hunger strikes.

To draw attention to their plight, they painted a message to Putin on the roofs of their barracks in huge white letters that said: “Dear Putin, V.V. Save the workers. We want to work.” Photographs taken from a helicopter were posted on the Internet.
