Even if that is true, how have we done in all of the ground based wars we've been in since Korea?
We're having to go back in Iraq for a 3rd time in 25 years.
I wonder how we would do in a ground based war in the Russian Motherland in the winter? Oh wait, we've just seen how that worked out...
taking land, no problem. defeating the enemy that wants to stand up and fight no problem. guys want to blend in with the populace and bomb haphazardly, not caring if 10 civilians are killed (their own people) if 1 US serviceman is wounded.
You two need to stop changing the argument. in a straight up fight (no guerrilla/insurgency tactics) the US could take anyone. No army has yet to demonstrate they can handle guerrilla fighting when they care about civilian casualties.
to the bolded???????
but to your question we stand as good of a chance as anyone (not that good). maybe that is what global warming is all about. use General Motors and Ford to defeat General Winter. cunning and it has taken years and can't be proved and the US is to blame. You should love that conspiracy.
