Not necessarily. The doors could have been jammed or it got hit with a large enough SAM to destroy it in the air. Or started spiraling out of control forcing the occupants away from the doors.

Lot of factors involved.

Honest question, do paratroopers always carry jump gear every time they board transports or do they only carry jump gear if that is there mission?

Only if they plan on landing without the plane :)

Most transports don't have spare parachutes save for the flight crew or if specifically required for the mission. Example: During Operation Southern Watch sometimes normal folks could take a flight on a tanker over Iraqi airspace just to say they did. If that happened, they were required to sign out a parachute even though most didn't have the first clue how to use it.

It seems that Russia is again moving troops and equipment back to the Ukrainian border for some reason.

I mean if you owe money for your gas bill then you should pay your bills but lets be clear the only reason he's doing this now is to be a douche.

If you owe someone money for goods or services and you don't pay them for it, doesn't that make you a thief?

I used to think it was more for the kind of stuff that these people need. Now I'm not so sure. At any rate, we've spent $2 billion helping Ukraine. Don't know what $10 million is now going to do about its corruption.

I heard some horror stories from the aftermath of the Haitian earthquake of how USAID was acting. Third hand stuff, but it didn't paint a pretty picture.

It's funny how so many are able to quickly label Putin an oligarch, yet Kerry and Biden are the only ones that I know of that have inserted friends in high places in the Ukraine.

Some of you people are going to going to have reality shock once all the dominos fall and you're left with the realization that the US has been the aggressors and agitators in Ukraine, Syria and anywhere else that is advantageous for the Anglo-American cartel.
