Ukraine Protests

Sign me up for this camp, I don't like our government getting in the way as it is, can't imagine how i would react if someone invaded

Maybe I have an overly-romantic understanding of our nation, as not every kid wondered around the streams, fields, valleys, and hills a mile or so in the backcountry behind his house.

If I had it my way though, every kid in the world would be able to do the same.

Although I would prefer a brother or a sister for them. I've always been a lonely little ****. haha!

Till this day, I remember one Sunday afternoon in March. It was starting to get a little warm. Anyhow, I was a 12 year old or so roaming around with my Ruger .22. I think that day the Chinese had invaded, if memory serves me correct.

I dived behind a fallen timber, taking cover. For some reason, I decided to clear all the fallen leaves from the last Fall away. And when I did, there was a Copperhead, slowly uncoiling. He wasn't very big, but he was there, and that's all I needed to know.

I ran, and I ran, and I ran. To this day, I still haven't stopped running.

I would gladly give you either one of my sisters, its overrated and sucks. This fact was compounded by the fact no children our age lived anywhere near us. You can't love someone as much as you can a family member and you can't hate someone that much either

If I could figure out how to multiquote I would show you where I answered it. Diversity. He has told me that when I have the money I should invest many things, at the moment yes metal is looking good. But wait till tomorrow or the next day. If you go all out for one investment you are more likely to get burned.

I am guessing this is not really about investing advice and more about the downfall of the American system which is happening according to you in T minus 10 minutes or something.....soon. I get it, you want Russia to nuke the States so your bud Putin can rebuild the world like he wants.

as much as this sounds like irrational nationalism on my part, what happened the last time the US went up against Russia (USSR)? Same things going to happen here more than likely. Lots of proxy wars, pointing and blaming, build up and maneuvering, but now just as then the rest of the world doesn't want Russia getting too much power. (what is too much, depends on who you ask) As bad as America is, nobody in their right mind wants Putin in charge of the lone super power.
Let me see if I can pin you down and get just a straight forward answer. Obviously diversity in your portfolio is crucial, but you barely answered my question So let me say this:

Are you bullish or bearish on the stock market?
Are you bullish or bearish on precious metals?

Maybe then from that, we can determine if you are following this new/unheard of/groundbreaking investment advice of buying low/selling high.

I mean, I think I just learned something today. Buy low and sell high and diversify my portfolio. Gosh, let me email Jim Cramer and tell him what I just learned on VN. These concepts may actually catch fire.

And Russia has no vested interest in Ukraine?

No, they do not.

ETA: Let me rephrase, they have a vested interest in seeing the Ukraine under their sphere of influence. Which obviously the duly elected government of the Ukraine does not want.

I do. But it's irrelevant. Can't prove it. The CIA is in on everything.

I'm the CIA representative assigned to monitor Volnation to watch for threats against this nation. Being that it's cyberspace, the whole thing about operating on US soil is moot.

And I've got my eye on you. And you will eventually go blind if you keep visiting those sites.

Damn...

I'm busted y'all.

Maybe Ron Mexico can vouche for me. ( he's my handler- I'm undercover- ask my wife :) )

You're not convinced the US meddled in the Ukrainian affair after the EU decision???

Really?

I have a hard time taking anything you say seriously at this point in time. I'd love to have a rational discussion about it, but I fear that is completely out of the realm of your ability.

Wait... the duly elected government got overthrown in February.

I've been very rational. I just present info that doesn't agree with the State Department/Obama/mainstream media narrative.

The grass is always greener, I guess.

I think maybe I should drink tonight...

Accusing you of following the mainstream media, Obama narrative is about like me accusing the servers at my local Chinese buffet of being Mexican restaurant spies.

And, for the record, I have a wonderful relationship with my local Chinese buffet folks, despite the broken English.

I wish I had a decent Chinese delivery service where I live. The closest one is horrid.

So...Poroshenko is or is not the President of the Ukraine?

Oh wait, he's a CIA plant, right?

If I've told you once, I'll tell you again, stop referring to it as "the Ukraine." That implies that it's part of the Russian Empire or the USSR.

Get it right! :)

To my good friend, Ras.

Ras, as far as America is concerned in its immediate neighborhood, do you think Mexico or Canada has anything to worry about, as far as territory is concerned?

Ras, regarding Russia and the "Near Abroad," as they sometimes call it, do you think that any nations immediately surrounding the Russian Federation need suffer any anxiety?

Ok please somembody else tell me I am crazy, did I not answer this already?? Am I the only one who :banghead2::banghead2::banghead2::banghead2: with this guy? If I had money I would be buying into metals, right now, am I selling off my stocks to buy in, nope. But as a 25 year old who makes less than 40k I don't have a lot of money to be spending so its a moot point. (and don't ask what my dad is doing because he still hasn't told me how much he makes after 25 years of asking)

By your sarcasm I guess you have been buying and selling low, I may have had my obvious pants pulled way up but that's the way it is. It allowed my dad to expand his portfolio during the recession, on what don't ask me he won't tell me. (one of those fatherly things- figure it out on your own with the advice I have given you)
