I disagree. Baron, when healthy, can/could be a difference maker. Very good athlete in my opinion.

I figure with the portal and NIL having such effect now we don’t even worry about paying attention to the roster until right before the first game each year. Just because they are there in January doesn’t mean that they will be there in September.

All the shills who cried incessantly for the last few years for players to get paid need to be flogged in public for about a month. They have single-handedly destroyed college football. If you think it's bad now, wait until we're two or three years into this nonsense.

The worst part of it all is that it was a lie from the beginning. 99% of people who go to college don't get a $100K-plus education for free. But Pandora's Box has now been officially opened.

The player's agent makes contact. New team has no contact with the player until they are in the portal. Everyone knows college football has always been known for fair equal recruiting.

Agree. Had 4 career starts. Father had already left as a staffer. Interesting that one of the things Verse is looking at when choosing to commit is the current depth chart (he came out and said that). We have a couple of great recruits coming in and if we get Verse, then we have been upgraded for next year. It is not like we were getting any pressure on the QB this year.
