If we are dealing with firm lines on the budget, I'd rather address the rest of the roster and bring in an affordable option like some of these lower level and that won't break the bank and let him compete with GMac and Brandon next season.

With that schedule, we ain't sniffin' the playoffs. We'll be lucky to get 6 wins. Rebuild the smart way. Don't overspend on any position and that includes qb.

In today’s world, top ten all time don’t mean much. It would shock you how little knowledge or respect kids today have for history.

Very accurate. We are a College Football Blueblood. One of College Footballs top brands. We check every box there is.
Multiple National Championships over last 100 years. Legendary, mythical coach- Neyland. Iconic stadium that everyone knows by name. Most recognizable field with our checkerboard endzones. Smokey the bluetick hound as our mascot that everyone knows by name. Peyton Manning the legendary College and Pro player. Most recognizable fight song in College Football. The power T on our helmets. We are in the SEC.

I realize we all know these things but stop and think about some other Bluebloods. What is the Southern Cal fight song? What is the name of the Michigan mascot? What is the name of Oklahoma’s stadium?

It’s great to be a Tennessee Vol.

It would be interesting if he did transfer here. I’m just not sure Jason would be all in for that. IDK. I think Ty would be fine in this offense and CLEARLY CJH would improve his abilities. But the whole Bama/Vols scenario might be a bit too much drama. Just not sure how I would feel about it.

Get him and maybe it opens a door for his little brother who will be a Sophomore this Fall. He is breaking all the records his brothers had set as Freshmen.

Too much to read through and not sure if it's been mentioned, but why would he be transferring from Bama based on draft grade? You'd think he'd stay and build on what they've done

Was impressive the game I saw. Hope he has or will grow a little. 247 has him at 5’11 1/2”.

Sure seems to have the intangibles down.

Has anyone confirmed or debunked the Coach/Dad concerns I have seen on here?

You’re confusing talent with results; the talent can be there and just not show out for several reasons. By any measure, AL is top 5 roster. By the 2025 247 composite, their average player rating makes them #1, and total team composite #2 just behind GA.
