There is difference in what you world like to do and what is right in the current moment. If one of the guys on campus are capable of seamlessly running the offense and understanding defenses, so be it. If not, you get the best QB you can on a 1 year rental. GMac and Faizon have plenty of eligibility left. Extremely short-sighted viewpoint. We're talking about a guy leaving for not starting as a RS Freshman.

I can only imagine how much this conversation changes if we played GMac and lost to Florida.

Im afraid things are a bit more complex than that.

There's a lot of egos involved here. Heupels. The players themselves. Also the people who have thrown down the money to pay all those cushy NIL deals for players who are never allowed to see the field.

Last thing Heupel wants right now is for boosters to start questioning his evaluations. Getting harder and harder for me to justify that monthly debit to Spyre, etc when I know my money has gone to Nico, Boo, Legend Bey, Matthews, etc etc etc.

Now-dom't think i honestly believe that my little donations mean anything in the grand scheme of things. Just a drop in a bucket. I also suspect that I am not the only person who is starting to ask some very difficult questions though
