In the context of "Run game" -- every opposing D1 Butch faced last year was certainly (above and beyond the norm) able to accomplish this, against him.

I believe the RB pecking order will be as follows: 1. Chandler, 2. London, 3a. Jordan, 3b. Banks. No way London comes here to take a backseat to the backup, and I don't think the staff brought him here to only get 3-5 touches a game, either.

How could you be impressed by any RB on the roster running behind that horrendous OL last year?

I wish Pruitt the best and I'm certain he's an exceptional DB coach , but don't forget Georgia and Fromm had 232 passing yards in the National championship game against Bama who had 4 and 5 star DB's .

That Is a great answer. Not sure why coaches don’t say that when the clueless sideline reporter asked “what does your team need to do to win the game?”
The answer is ALWAYS “outscored them!”

London comes in summer. Seasoned and good between tackles runner. Nice balance w Chandler IMO.
If Banks pops in camp, then it could be even better. Jordan is serviceable in my "day job" viewpoint.

We're in good shape at RB.

There were not many offensive highlights last year but Chandler looks explosive. Dude showed some nice speed during his KO return for a TD.

If we have those guys healthy and ready for game 1, we will be able to run the ball

Last years OC wasn't an OC, our O line was injured

Oline + OC = W over WVU

Mike, Jack Jones left football last year. Career-ending injury. He's a VFL, but no longer a Volunteer football player. Sorry to have to break it to you.

How confident are you that we will have Kennedy and that Smith and Hall will both be healthy?

I don't think it's far fetched axcording to the type of running game that CJP seems to be designing and recruiting. Chandler has the biggest potential and we've seen flashes of game changing playmajing ability but he'll have to establish himself between the tackles. I think he'll need to work on it before he becomes a true 3 down back. Jordan/London, imo, will get the workhorse carries. Also, Jordan didn't look bad in the spring or in practice. There's no indication that another back is the clear cut workhorse. Unless you make the case for London who has had some success for another division 1 school.

You're asking for a team update from a fella who doesn't know Jack Jones had to leave the team halfway through the 2017 season.

I don't mean any disrespect, but I don't get the impression he's closely connected to the program or our lads.

I'm not familiar with "blargh", but thanks for the laugh.

WV will be preping in the dark for what we will be doing in both offense and defense. For CJP&S it's an open book test. I think our guys will put in the work it will take to blast WV. I expect our DBs to bait Grier into throwing some picks. Play off, then jump a route or two. We could be back to out smarting teams along with being physical with them too.

Georgia Tech had like 600 rushing yards against us last year and we won the game... can't even remember how many all purpose yards.

Alabama shut them down in the second half and won the game, so I'm not sure what your point is...

We have to control the ball and win T.O.P to have any shot imo. Run the ball and milk the clock. It's not rocket science. A low scoring trench war is our path to victory. If it becomes track meet, we will loose.

Jordan will not start. I think he is a good runner, but Banks as a Freshman is already bigger then all of the backs minus maybe London. I'd assume London and Banks are the prototypical backs Pruitt wants in there.

That being said I see the rotation being London/Chandler/Banks/Jordan.
