Too much ice

I've talked to the FWC about the harassment laws specifically, and they pretty much said they aren't going to do anything unless the perps physically mess with your equipment, like cut your fishing lines, etc.

The gun is a whole other issue but I was literally shot at and I still don't think anything happened to those folks. But we're talking about a town so small that it took cops hours to get to the scene after being told explicitly "we got shot at", lol.
The game changer now is video. Practically everybody has a phone now and once they are on camera it's pretty definitive. The brilliant ones are the Karens that threaten to call the police after harassing the hell out of somebody, get the police called and deny everything they did only to have the LEO watch the video. It's wild. The person will be saying something like "What you are doing is illegal and I'm videoing you doing it." and they don't care.

Trump folding under pressure will signal that the psychos won. Good job DJT

Trump put on the impression that things would change, its not. Nothing is happening now that didn't happen before except putting on a bigger show.

Most likely the illegals are out reproducing the deportations.

Trump is a very good Actor.

That’s why it’s called compromise. ICE pays attention to protocol and obeys court orders and Minnesota assists them with police to help the operation. Maybe ICE backs off their heavy handed tactics and random stops and the protesters back off. I think that’s what you are about to see from Homan. Sounded like it anyway. We shall see.!
And the Minnesota state government and the Minneapolis government haven't cooperated from the beginning. They've refuse any attempt at compromise. All the feds have asked for is for them to turn over the ones that have ice detainers. Trump reiterated that the other day. That's been the whole problem.

Which is brought up all the time on here, but nary a peep about this one, lol.

I also member folks said Trump wouldn't use those tactics to enrich himself in office because he didn't need to.

I don't blame him for making hay while the sun's shinning. If the dems take the WH and both chambers of congress in 2028 and Trumps still alive, he's dying in prison.

I’m not dismissing the state. I’ve said all along that the local, state, and Feds were all acting badly. I’ve said it multiple times. I’ve also said that is all a distraction from what the Feds did in this encounter that’s all.

And on your last two statements where are they taking the people they are out after? If they don’t have jail capacity then they shouldn’t be out chasing people to put in jail?
They have the authority to have detainment facilities for illegal immigrants. Totally different judicial system for deportations. His crimes would have been adjudicated by local authorities. They refused to arrest or take into custody and ICE arrest.

Did you pitch this big of a fit when Ashlie Babbitt or were you a FAFO?

He didn’t fold. Homan is working both sides and garnering bipartisan support. He’s good at his job let him work. FFS go read the whole article.
Exactly. Some people don’t understand the concept of compromise. Hopefully Homan is serious.

Having said that I can guarantee that Trump is not doing this willingly. As I said yesterday, you have to consider the political ramifications of this mess and the mid term elections. The optics of this are a no win for Trump the way Bovino and Noem were handling it. Generally if Trump sees he in a negative position, he’ll bluster after a while and back down. (In other words, 💩 on the game board, storm off and tell everybody he won.) This time he had no choice but to do it quickly. Hence why Bovino and Noem were ejected quickly and Homan brought in to try to ease the situation.

Lol, seems a little hypocritical, no?

Also, I highly doubt your last statement. I think you're giving the dems way more credit they deserve in thinking they'd actually ever accomplish that. I don't even think the actual people running the show want that. Elites don't want open season on their peers because they might be next, it's all a dog and pony show.

If you criticized the book deals sure, I've just called them out for what they are. A legal means to launder money to a president.

Oh I think they will be out for blood when they return to power.

If they have authority to arrest and they have a jail then everyone they have arrested can sing Kum By Ya together.

My stance as I’ve stated it here is Ashli Babbitt was wrongly killed and the officer absolutely should have faced a grand jury which I don’t see how they wouldn’t convict.

Politics is not zero sum. Never has been. And this current trend of treating it as such is completely idiotic and unworkable.

Also Homan should have led this from day 1 he’s the only competent one in the three.

Bruce Springsteen Releases Anti-ICE Protest Song ‘Streets Of Minneapolis’

View attachment 810977
Far-left rocker Bruce Springsteen has released a new anti-ICE, anti-Trump protest song entitled “Streets Of Minneapolis,” that praises insurrectionist protesters and calls the president “King Trump.”

Springsteen really ramps up the hyperbolic and hateful rhetoric in the song. For instance, he calls ICE “occupiers” and “thugs,” and calls the president “King Trump,” while praising the violent anti-ICE protesters as “citizens standing for justice” who are being gunned down by ICE.

Whatta POS…
Ellison bought to start singing too with his new hit song…I’m takin errbody down wit me

An Ethicist ‘in the Scalia Mold’: The Minnesota Judge Blasting ICE

“This list should give pause to anyone — no matter his or her political beliefs — who cares about the rule of law,” he wrote, assessing that ICE has most likely violated more court orders in January alone than “some federal agencies have violated in their entire existence.”

"...Tricia McLaughlin, a spokeswoman for the Homeland Security Department, dismissed his concerns about the violations as a “diatribe from this activist judge,”
Lol he was a Bush appointee

Like I said, I don't believe there are any federal jails. They rely on the local jurisdictions. How do you think that would work in Minneapolis?

Look I can’t buy that they are out there apprehending people with no where to put them because until the last 24 hours there is zero chance any local jail not theirs would take them. We agree on that. But they have still been active apprehending people 🤷‍♂️
