Too much ice

So, I'm not so sure that's true, but I'll concede it for the sake of brevity, and the fact that it was probably heavily implied by context. The question centers on

You're not so sure that's true...? HUH?

Is it your contention that someone who makes a misstatement about someone who had a gun can't also believe that we have the right to keep and bear arms? Can you please explain the logic that connected those two points for me? And please be specific.

I think if they actually support the 2A then they would know what brandishing means, and it is a serious difference from the reality of what actually happened.

I’d like to know what the protesters think they are accomplishing by harassing the officers? That’s like haranguing your waitress because the restaurant took your favorite dish off the menu.

They should be in DC at the capitol building and WH protesting along with the various state legislatures and governors offices. Those are the people making the decisions, not the guys on the street
They're too dumb and slow to know that piggy. They rather stay
with their leaders who have no leadership skills on how to govern.

I conceded the point due to implication.

You're yet to explain the logic that forms that misfire of thought.

Don't be a moron. Trump pardons a fellow millionaire for stealing 1.2 billion and you have no problem with is the lane.
If you don’t like the answer, ask better questions.. I really got you sideways with my response, someone not agreeing with Trump who supports him. You asked about Texas fraud this morning and opted to go Florida when you weren’t well versed in Texas. I can’t help keep you straight, but pick a lane. As I said, youre a dog with zoomies as you’re all over the place.

I think 2A supporters should understand the basic definition of brandishing a weapon within the context of the law. That's something you might expect a far left, ban-all-guns type to not comprehend.

You may have the last word, we've already spent way too much time on this tangent.

You never answered. What is your daily carry
I thought I implied clearly. I don’t. I’m almost 62 now and I simply don’t have the need to where I live. I have two pistols which are candidates a Glock 34 (correction it’s a 35 the .40 version the 34 is a 9mm) which simply isn’t practical and an Sig SP2022 in 9mm which if I ever chose to do so I probably would. The Glock is mine but the Sig is actually the MIL’s first gun it’s just not practical with SA/DA for her it’s too complex and the trigger pull is too stiff in DA mode. She has a much simpler Ruger now. The Glock remains loaded and handy. I just don’t feel the need to do so out in public. Now I have thought about having one on my bass boat which I am at liberty to do should I desire. I can also concealed carry in public should I choose to do so since I live in TX. My bass boat is really the only place I think it might have use.

Now were I suddenly decide to CC most likely I’d go buy a nickel plated Springfield Armory 1911 because I think they are beautiful guns. They don’t offer a nickel plated version currently so I’d be hitting the used market which isn’t that bad with today’s online site offerings. Lots of people think 1911’s are silly CC guns with today’s offerings. I just think they are a classic.

My wife has asked me the same thing. I answered her by asking how many people does she think are armed when we are sitting down at lunch or dinner. She kinda looked nervous when she thought about the answer.

A large crowd of anti-ICE protestors surrounded a restaurant in Lakewood, a city in Los Angeles, on Wednesday night after hearing there were apparently federal agents dining inside

View attachment 810961
In reality, a group of TSA workers were off duty and enjoying dinner inside the restaurant. The airport workers are seen gathered in the parking lot after the protest broke out

When approached by Fox 11, a woman with long curly hair, who is believed to be one of the organizers of the protest, refused to comment on the demonstration because she doesn't 'trust Fox'

These are the true brown shirts

Maybe they think if they annoy them enough they’ll quit on the spot and go home lol. If I heard those whistles all day long I may jump off a bridge

You've merely repeated the same misfire without explanation. Why "should" your "should" define someone else's belief about a person's right to keep and bear arms, and why should the limits of their vocabulary?

You may have the last word, we've already spent way too much time on this tangent.

By all means, I'm giving you every opportunity to better explain your apparent willingness to blindly parrot catch-phrases with absolutely no critical thinking whatsoever. Or you can just tuck your tail, form a hasty retreat, and live to keep doing it another day with no self-reflection whatsoever.

So if the fish aren’t biting you can just plug ‘em with the Glock?

Probably have better chances honestly.

I think out on the water is about as isolated as I would ever be not hunting. If I’m hunting then I’m obviously armed. Fishing not so much and if you encounter some aggressive azzhole you’re on your own.

Yeah there could be some real rednecks or even Somali pirates on some of our East Texas lakes.

IF I owned a gun I'd definitely have one stashed on the boat. The lake gets a bit cray-cray at times.

The belligerent home owner “you can’t fish here I own this part of the lake” retards are my bigger concern. They are ignorant of TX law and live on a lake.

A lot of people get spooled up on wake boards coming in on fishermen. While I don’t like it and realize they can be azzholes it’s a free country and they are free to use the lake just as I am

I've literally been shot at by those crazies. Good times.
