Trump isn't really doing much different, if you want them gone -> they could be basically moving out of Dodge by now. Its not hard at all, and it would actually take significantly less money, resources and time. What Trump has done is put in an initial ramp up of deportations and now it will stall. If one wants them gone, it is very easy to get them gone.

Looks like controlled opposition and nothing significant has changed, they're throw some meat to the wolves from time to time. It a very expensive rerun.

I'm not the one invoking the name of Laken Riley as if it's a catch-all justifier for whatever false equivalence you guys need to create to make it easer to support extrajudicial murder.

I will agree with you but Orange Crush is right. That is exactly what the defense is going to focus on in defense of the shooters. It’s really is the only leg they have to stand on.

Personally I think more damaging stuff about Pretti is going to have to come out for it to be a problem. If they only have the one incident of him losing his 💩 and kicking out a taillight, then I think that’s problematic for the defense but stranger things have happened in court. (OJ Simpson says hey.) I have my doubts a grand jury is going to buy that if they focus on the event of the murder but the defense is going to try.

I think it's because that Minnesota was the only area where everyone from Governor, to state senators to mayors were involved in said fraud at some level and were actively resisting federal law cooperation for enforcing immigration law.

Agent hasn’t been charged and convicted of Murder. Pretty sure you never say a word about this stuff.

Do you believe people would stand behind anyone that is proven to have taken part in these unforgivable acts? I would immediately drop all support for any person who was proven to committed a sexual crime against a child.

If you truly believe that he’s guilty, I understand; but I really think that if there was even a slight bit of evidence proving DJT took part in these acts someone would have released it. I’d think it would have been leaked by a hacker group at the very least.

If there is proof, he should face the harshest penalties possible; but calling someone a pedo without evidence is drastic. His past with women of age is not the most heartwarming and chivalrous example you’d want to have your son follow; but I have never seen anything that shows him taking advantage of a child. If you have proof, I am more than willing to listen/read into it.

They are going to hammer the fact that it's the prosecution's job to prove as 'unreasonable', a belief in the moment that they were in imminent danger. Period. Everything else is superfluous.

Unless it's deepfake, I saw a video yesterday where the agents were yelling just before the first shot that he had a gun. The prosecution will have to prove that the initial shooter did not hear this, saw/recognized that he had been disarmed, and that it would be unreasonable to believe in the heat of the moment, in those circumstances, without hindsight advantage, that they were in imminent danger.

It's a tall hill for the prosecution to climb, and my non-expert opinion is that I'm not sure the prosecutor will want to take that on.

That's funny, if true. My next response to the inevitable pearl-clutching about my post was to ask if there was this kind of outrage over US citizens' kids that inevitably go into foster care because their parents are convicted and jailed for things like tax fraud.

It's funny that huff doesn't mine the internet for sad stories about the families torn apart when the law is levied against US Citizens. I've never once heard of the "I've worked in a restaurant for a long time and have kids, so you should acquit me" defense.
