Pre 2016 I would have laughed at the notion for just about any agency besides DEA, but the Overton Window got smashed and it keeps getting worse...... Who saw conflating vehicle ownership with nazi idealogy as justification for destruction of personal property pre 2024?

I understand the importance of transparency in LE, though. Make them wear high visibility vests with their badge number in contrasting colors for all I care. But, it isn't unreasonable to presume they're entitled to some level of anonymity in their personal lives.

You’re treating this as they’re running around, picking out some random individual, thumping them on the head and taking into custody for no reason.

Usually, they’re on site to perform a job and apprehend those they’ve been briefed on. Once these protesters cross the line and intervene with the ongoing process, things change.

Protesters initiate violence and ICE responds accordingly.

Every government law enforcement agency is trained to view those who seek to disrupt them performing their duties as an opponent. Every government law enforcement agency is trained to control those who are breaking the law and escalate use of force as it's being escalated.

Hyperbolic generalizations such of this should be beneath you--especially merely to support an "everybody I disagree with is a Nazi" argument..
