Too much ice

I'm glad there are groups out there attempting to keep ice in check.
and I hope that this incident serves to increase the public's rightful distrust of ice and all that that brings.
Honestly I'm fine with observing and making sure accountability maintained...but when you go from observing to obstructing, warning or harboring...your no longer observing your engaging...

To be fair, hasn't ICE attempted to apprehend the bad ones? Arriving to a site, attempting to apprehend those already in custody with local LE, only to arrive and be informed that "you just missed them, they were just released".
Plus, ICE is just being overwhelmed with support from the sanctuary states and cities.

This is the confusing part to me. I don’t think there is sizeable amount of people who view her life being worthless. Sure you have fringe elements who would but i don’t think there is a ton of people who agree with that.

I think the use of force was justified. I don’t think she should have died but I also believe she 1000% is responsible for putting herself in that position.
I’m sure I’ve made less confusing posts in this thread.

They are.

From the article:

Since January, ICE has taken nearly 150,000 people into federal custody — 100,000 of whom either had pending criminal charges filed against them or had been previously convicted of a crime, according to ICE. About 67% of illegal immigrants arrested had a criminal charge pending or had been convicted.

“Most detainees come from state and local arrests,” Arthur said. “Traffic stops are the most common.”

As seen during a ride-along with Florida Highway Patrol in southeast Florida in July, illegal immigrants who were discovered during traffic stops were turned over to federal immigration authorities. While many were not the “worst of the worst” and did not have criminal histories, they will be counted in ICE’s arrests, but not because ICE sought out noncriminals.

What people don’t realize… it would take 27 years to apprehend every illegal that came in under the Biden admin if we kept our daily average rate of 1000 arrests per day….

That’s how high the number was.

Not at all...her life wasn't worthless..but if they had pre-planned to engage with the ICE agents there may some liability issue with the wife..and it's confirmed it was her wife recording..and her wife saying it was her fault she was there..I wished she felt her life meant more if not for herself at least her kids..cuz I promise you illegals don't gaf.
Link?

Where does the constitution authorize ICE to stop civilans? Where does the constitution authorize immigration enforcement?

How's that leather taste?

The constitution doesn’t say a lot of things. I’m game to end every federal policy and program not mentioned in the constitution. Are you?
Hog just played a card Huff didn’t even know was in the deck. 🤣🤣🤣

There comes a point where engaging is justified.

The issue is that a majority of the engaging has been violent.

Like I’m personally confused and shocked why the outrage we are seeing over the last 24 hours is at a level we never got close to when people tried to snipe immigration officials at their facility in Texas.

That was engaging with immigration officials from people who didn’t like the law of the land.

The problem is if you are gonna carve out certain time when engaging is justified, you’re gonna have to clarify what exactly that means. Because the current trend is engaging = violent altercations towards immigration officials.

It's even worse. She was waving them by

@whodeycin85 the woman in the plaid jacket and white knit hat? She’s clearly visible on the passenger side trying to get back in the car, not filming.

Can you explain more clearly why it matters? You brought it up as proof she wasn’t fleeing, now you’re saying it’s a liability thing. I’m confused.

She is also see following and harrassing ICE agent prior..photos are out there.
I did not say proof, I asked if her original intent was fleeing why would her wife and dog exit and record?? Not that it proof she wasn't fleeing...I believe she was intending to run a sting on ICE as part of her ice watchers job..and when things got serious she panicked, accelerated toward and away from the officer this striking him and getting killed...

What do you see as the difference between following and harassing that’s discernible from these still photos and observing and making sure accountability is maintained?

I still don’t see why any of this matters. It’s like arguing about whether Charlie Kirk was a racist. I do think identifying that as her wife obliterates your theory.

Looks like it was an ICE officer’s suburban blocking the road and she was sideways in the road with her wheels turned left. Like she was trying to retrieve her wife and do a U-turn to leave when the truck pulls up.

Minn. public radio interviewed witnesses who said she was given conflicting orders to move her car and get out. Knowing that the guy driving the suburban was ICE, that witness statement is more plausible.
