That's not true. I watched it with the sound up. He fired while still in front of the vehicle from what I could see.He literally took a step to his right and shot her in the head through the window
Perhaps law enforcement can weigh in. I wonder if law enforcement are trained to draw their weapon if they are standing in front of a car that is fleeing detention. Also notice he pulls his gun out before she even moved forward. He knew exactly what he was going to do
You've got to ****ing kidding me. Absolutely lying through their teeth. I know what I just watched. I'm glad those agents are expected to make a full recovery.
That's assuming LE in these cities would even be present in a given situation. That's not true. I watched it with the sound up. He fired while still in front of the vehicle from what I could see.
You have to ask why he had to step/jump out of the way of the vehicle while she accelerated the vehicle.
Like I said. This is terrible, and there is no good in it. But I have to ask, if this were not ICE and someone sped their car at another law enforcement officer while they were being detained, would the response be the same?

I also wonder if it's advisable to accelerate at a law enforcement that is in front of your vehicle with their gun drawn.
Yes.Not discounting the rest of thr incident or what facts come out, but are you saying she was 100% legal in non-compliance and fleeing LE and apparently looks like one LEO in the path of her car, regardless of whether or not he should have fired.
Two separate parts of the argument. I'd say they both had accountability into the outcome of this unfortunate position. She put herself at risk. He possibly made a bad shoot. It's the world our extreme fringes have created. It's OK to buck LEO. It's legal to be illegal and resist. If she had exited her vehicle when told instead of driving off, the shooting would not have happened. Doesn't make the agent not guilty, but it does make her guilty.
Doesn't help that the local government and LEO rhetoric advises citizens when they call 911 when confronted by feds that they don't have to comply.
Really? You knew she was trying to move around him? How would you know that?Intent matters.
She backed up and turned to avoid the moron standing in front of her car, he stepped aside, and shot her in the head through the side window. There was no officer in danger at the point that he removed himself from the front of her vehicle.
Like the other protestors in later video. completely non compliant and blocking ive truck from tryin to leave. Had to be pepper sprayed and slung to the side to clear the road. Protestors take it too far and do not help their rhetoric out at all.DHS reports that she was a protestor who used her vehicle to try to stop ICE operations. When they tried to detain her, she drove at an ICE agent that was standing in her path to stop her.
Really? You knew she was trying to move around him? How would you know that?
So you KNOW she was backing up to get around the officer? No way to know that. NoneBecause I watched the video where she backed up the car and turned away from the officer who placed himself in front of her vehicle?
It's linked in here from multiple angles, maybe you should try watching it before you comment.
How is someone in the situation supposed to know that? It would’ve been just as easy for her to remain in reverse and create more space. Either way, the officer couldn’t tell what her intent was. It's a misnomer. She was backing up to try to flee detention. She also drove at/into an officer that was blocking her way after having done so.
