Honest question…

Do you think moving the current illegals quickly through the system to get them legal status would still be needed for manual labor jobs if we had actual welfare reform that forced those able to work actually work or they starve?

I truly believe in immigration but the illegals coming are not doctors and lawyers and are mainly blue collar it appears.

I get paid to provide a high end product. Forcing lazy clock riding shitbags on to my job site sounds like a terrible idea.

Do you want the lazy ***** building our roads?

The guys I use are all legal (or were till the government decided to stop renewing work visas) they have all been here 20 years and have children that are us citizens. If I could find merican subs who’s ass I didn’t have to wipe for them then I’d use them. Those merican skilled craftsmen are few and far between.

Valid point.

I could counter with if welfare didn’t exist the mindset would change but that is a generational change and wouldn’t help you in the here and now.

I do think people on work visas with no criminal record should be fast tracked but should not be allowed welfare benefits for them or dependents for 10 years.

And I live in Nashville. I would take a new road any way I can get it.

Legal immigration should be streamlined. Illegal immigration should be locked down. People here on work visas should not be eligible for welfare or unemployment type programs.

OK, how come you hold me to this standard in this case when we got people all over the political landscape straight up calling others evil and filth, etc.? You yourself have said the government as a whole is evil. That doesn't include ICE? Aren't you guilty of potentially encouraging fringe lunatics with that kind of rhetoric? Or is it more important that we're able to call evil evil?

24 hours?

How fast would a website go up showing their faces and addresses like the SC had done to them?

How long before one was killed?

If you are honest you know it would be quick.

those websites exist already. I couldn't find any examples of arrests or attacks on ICE or the families at their homes, or when out as a civilian. The only attacks on ICE have been while they are in uniform, or at an ICE facility, which is public info.

so the answer to your question is currently an infinite timeline, because there hasn't been example of your fear mongering to start the clock. if there was an attack today the timeline would be several months, at least 6 months based on the start dates of three websites I found in 2 minutes.

If ICE is uncomfortable doing their jobs they need to push back on their leadership for creating the mess. so far they haven't, so again their fear mongering rings hollow.

this is on par with the typical government revisionist justification of "if it saves one life", or "think of the children/grandmothers".
