Too much ice

Nope. Said he should have been arrested at the first incident. He had obviously been protesting regularly. But he can still be a good man who happened to lose his cool that day. Maybe he’s got a temper, maybe that’s the only time. (Personally I’d like to know why he wasn’t arrested. That was much more egregious than his actions when he got executed.)

Still has no bearing on ultimately what occurred this past weekend. (And neither does the silly speculation that he was shot by his own gun by a misfire.) I’m just waiting for the grand jury. Not going to be distracted by ancillary junk.

I didn't say he wasn't a good man. I've previously stated on the day this occurred how I read he did a lot with the VA and within his community.

I wasn't stating he was shot with his own weapon. Not at all, as the officer who had possession of it was clearing the pile. My question was did it discharge accidentally. Officers heard the shot and responded by shooting Pretti unnecessarily. The one officer with his weapon out was beyond being excessive at that point, but that's JMO.

As for being distracted, pointing out additional behavior characteristics is debatable and should be discussed in this forum.

He had a past history of engaging ICE officers and being violent towards them.

You do realize if this ever gets to a GJ, they'll look at everything, not just 2 seconds of a video of him being executed.
You didn't answer the question.

How did his behavior 11 days prior, change the reality of him being shot in the back by an ice agent while disarmed of his firearm?

Had he not been of such a quick temper, he would have been intelligent enough not to be there in the first place, especially while armed. Live to see another day.

Look man…. I’m not blaming the pistol for the reason the guy was shot. The P320 has had issues in the past so I’m not sure what you’re trying to prove.

Just pointing out that ICE extended their own contract with Sig in spite of whatever safety concerns they and others had identified.

You're still not answering question.

How did his behavior 11 days prior change the fact that an ice agent shot him the back after he was disarmed?
It’s always ā€œhe didnt deserve to die BUTā€ and then proceeds to list 10 reasons as to why the victim was in the wrong and spends time defending agents. Wild work

This goes for almost anyone, but in households where the father is present one of the things you teach a teenage son is not to be aggressive toward law enforcement. There will be another time to make your case. This was advice for something as simple as traffic stops. Now imagine actually seeking out trouble with law enforcement with a loaded weapon. Any grown man who tells you that is smart or condones it is an idiot.

I doubt a prior encounter happened here but you never know I guess. Prior interaction can certainly cause big problems. We had the case here in Memphis a couple of years ago of a guy that was pulled over and beaten to death by 5 cops supposedly because he had been messing with the wife of one of the cops. (Unarmed and definitely on the ground)
It was because Memphis PD lowered their standards for "diversity" and hired officers with a history of being in gangs
