Did the polling say he had a chance or was this an opportunistic time to take a stand and avoid a beat down? No agenda other than the question and his rationale sounds great to me. But he’s a politician soooooo….SIAP:

Minnesota Republican drops out of governor's race, citing GOP's handling of immigration enforcement
Republican Chris Madel said in a video posted to X that he "cannot support the national Republicans' stated retribution on the citizens of our state."www.nbcnews.com
There’s at least 4 other people there. Theres people are between the two men I circled. Pretending he had a clear view is a joke
All your post here proves is the agent saw an empty holster, which in a volatile situation simply ramps up LEO anxiety and leads to a shooting.
The shooter had unobstructed view of the other officer disarming the victim and retreating with the weapon and the victim prostrate and controlled in front of him. I guess that is why he was so quickly able to get three rounds off cleanly hitting him squarely in the back.As I stated previously, there were multiple distractions with whistles and protestor interference, which may have limited verbal commands. There's no need for that weapon to be drawn at this point of the situation. I don't agree with calling him trigger happy, etc. and he may be an exceptional officer within ICE, but he made a mistake that day and he'll have to be held accountable.
So I broke the news…well at least what was coming and said it’ll be interesting viewing the reactions forthcoming…mommy look at the bad man![]()

Now, he may seen the gun in the other agent's hand, but this picture you have provided proves nothing of the sort.
No, I'm not defending this shoot, but pointing out this picture that does nothing more than suggest the agent could be in a reasonable frame of mind to shoot.
And if you have committed multiple felonies but have yet to be convicted, you are not a felon.......even though you have committed multiple felonies. If you have been convicted of a felony, then by definition you are a felon.
So to recap:
They are targeting sanctuary cities because those cities don't work with ICE, and
January 22, 2025.This is actually a good thing, its easier to identify who should be scheduled for termination.
Where do I go to arrest illegals and their co-conspirators -> sanctuary cities
Where do I go to arrest people that have committed federal crimes -> follow pardons to Biden's house
Where do I go to terminate employees with insane political agendas > look at the agency office structure on their website
They are providing roadmaps and identification marks.
And if you have committed multiple felonies but have yet to be convicted, you are not a felon.......even though you have committed multiple felonies.
Seems dumb, but I get it.
If you commit crimes, you are a criminal.
If you lie, you are a liar,
If you cheat, you are a cheater.
But if you commit felonies, you are not a felon until actually convicted.
Seems to make the term "convicted felon" redundant and pointless....why would anyone ever say "convicted felon".
I think most on here said Babbit put herself in that situation to be shot and killed
The fact that so few illegals are actually being caught in Minnesota as a percentage and given how vocal the Minnesota Dems have been at resisting Trump's efforts, I tend to lean towards B.So to recap:
They are targeting sanctuary cities because those cities don't work with ICE, and
A) that's where all the criminals will be caught,
B) this is retribution for their policies and opposition to Trump,
C) they're trying to foment insurrection, and/or
D) there is no clear motive, they're just stupid.
Their 1,360 lie has been debunked and Homan, the guy who knows the most about running ICE, strongly believed the best strategy was in high-density cities with cooperative governments.
So now that A is eliminated, who is changing their minds? Probably nobody.
I am certain we'll see some of you in here again claiming Minneapolis is just good strategy.
That’s exactly the problem I see. People on both sides would rather support a narrative than use their brain. He literally watches his moronic cohort, remove the firearm from Pretti's holster, draws his own weapon, and fires into Pretti's back.
The mental gymnastics you guys are willing to go through to try to disbelieve what you are watching is one of the most impressive acts of collective cognitive dissonance ever witnessed in human history.
To differentiate from being convicted of some lesser crime most likely I'm guessing. And if you have committed multiple felonies but have yet to be convicted, you are not a felon.......even though you have committed multiple felonies.
