Tony Elliott Appears To Be a Target

You can’t argue those programs were in the trash because they weren’t. Most were perennial 7-9 wins a year... we struggle getting 6 wins backs to back.

Oklahoma had won 6, 5, 3, 4, and 5 games before hiring Stoops from Florida's staff. Florida State had 3 6 loss seasons in 4 years heading into Jimbo and they got 4 years probation for major violations Bowdens final year with several lost scholarships.

We haven’t had 4 consecutive winning seasons since 2001-2004 think about that for a second we need a legitimate coach who can turn this thing around and the culture not a unproven product of the system coordinator those gambles hardly ever work out and certainly haven’t for us.

I don’t think you can hire a first time HC, even if it is a high profile OC. White needs to call Freeze and discuss an incentive laden contract, morality clauses, and staff. Freeze could keep Tee and Jay on staff to try and keep a few players. I know integrity is paramount for the UT Administration but Freeze learned his lesson and would be a coach who truly wants to be in Knoxville. I hope this is what happens but I am not very optimistic.

So what IF Frost is hired and Elliott is named OC and HCIW and this whole Elliott is top target is smokescreen? I have a hard time believing White would pass him up from a smaller school to be first choice at a bigger school with trouble looming, White is not an idiot, I believe he's bringing in somebody nobody sees coming why I say Frost
Please, for the love of god, just stop.

so they listen to you guys instead, who have been proven wrong about every IT coaching hire.
They damn sure won't listen to low IQ, malcontents like yourself. When he said keep the negative off of social media he was referencing you.

I’m not sure why people are so convinced he’d be a bad hire. He might be a great HC. But For me it has more to do with risk. Also, Tennessee has a ton going for it except for credibility. You address both concerns by hiring an experienced head coach.

With our current situation we are sitting at the poker table with a 2-7, hoping for a miracle. The bigger play is getting someone to accept the risk to their career by coming here while we are holding a losing hand.
