There’s literally no reason for you not to say “Here’s what site I saw this on.” I happens on here multiple times per day, and the internet is public.

I am not going to do that. For a couple of reasons, 1. I really don’t think it is ethical to come on one message board to promote another one, their competitor. 2. That site already is getting requests for 25 new users a day, most will never post there, just lurk and take up bandwidth, and they are a smaller board. 3. I believe in trust, if you said you found something on another board, I would accept that. It doesn’t mean I have to believe the content, but, I would believe that you found it there. And that is all I did, I posted a rumor on here that I found somewhere else, that another figure stated today was true. I hope that it isn’t, and I actually questioned that individual that posted the text message. But in any event, I will never promote another board on here, nor would I promote this site there. I couldn’t care less if others do.
