Exactly 1000, nobody knows and will know, why all these reporters are grabbing at straws, it’s probably a plan by white to snuff the reporters and use Elliott as a pawn to throw them off so he can work in peace! Our players apparently are behind White so the top target must be a home runI can guarantee you no one will know who Whites top target is until the press conference.
My big concern with him is how will he adjust to having significantly less talent here than at Clemson along with the possible severe upcoming NCAA sanctions coming. These are the similar concerns I had with Pruitt and no HC experience stepping into the big bad SEC plus he was co offensive coordinator as well. I just think it’s too much of a gamble and we have burned on those 3 times in the last decade another gamble and burn could bury us for good. This guy needs to go to a Tulane and Western Kentucky type school first and see how he does and get his feet wet as a HC before jumping in to the deep end in Knoxville. He wouldn’t be my first choice but I would like the hire.
Can we agree to wait and see what happens before we get over emotional? This is the first time I have legitimate faith in the Administration without a lot of meddling. My big concern with him is how will he adjust to having significantly less talent here than at Clemson along with the possible severe upcoming NCAA sanctions coming. This is my concern as well...he's got far superior talent to work with against any team not named Georgia or Alabama right nowMy big concern with him is how will he adjust to having significantly less talent here than at Clemson along with the possible severe upcoming NCAA sanctions coming. Preferably a guy that’s done it before and can rebuild quickly and work with the talent he’s giving and the ability to make good adjustments in games something Pruitt could not do. Matt Campbell fits that bill to me we aren’t hiring Freeze or a Bob Stoops I would throw the money at Campbell and make him say no 100 times. Knoxville vs Ames, Iowa cmon no comparison there. Campbell would be my number one choice right now if I was Danny White. So, tell us your ideal HC pick and what you envision our record to be the next two years under that individuals leadership.
