Patterson yes, Fuente, no. You have to remember, Fuente's job came with Bud Foster, who likes "CoEds and Cocain" too much to be a head coach. Its unknown if Fuente would be successful without the previous coaches long-time DC on staff.

I doubt we can get Patterson, but his high-scoring offense would be a lot of fun to watch.

Need I remind you, compaired to us, Fuente beat a LOT of folks this year.

He can get infinitely better athletes to compete with those teams here than he can at TCU.

LOOK don't shoot the messenger. I'm just relaying what was said.

Lol, Im not shooting. Texas has a lot of talent. Tennessee has top notch facilities. We are recruiting against alot better teams too. IMO.

The funny thing about Fuentes is he lost to butch that lost to dooley.... I really don't know the logic in this

Because you are trying to use the transitive property in football. It doesnt work. Thats why you are confused.

Love me some Tony B. He has been speaking on the Haslams wrecking stuff a lot longer than anyone else. If you take his format what it is it's great.

No he definitely said PATTERSON. He even mentioned the extension but I'm assuming Fulmer thinks that can be negotiated around.

That's interesting. Maybe he knows something about it that nobody else does? I like this info though thanks for sharing. Whether its true or not.

That Fulmer has wiped the slate clean with the coaching search and is starting over. Said his first two targets are confirmed to be Fuente and Patterson and he's contacting them directly (no agents) to see if they're interested.

Also reported that Bev Davenport went over Haslam's head to appoint Fulmer as AD. Said Haslam wanted Currie's assistant (forgot his name) and Bev told him "over my dead body." Said we owe Bev Davenport a lot of gratitude for standing up to the Haslams.
Tony means well, but he spreads a lot of crazy rumors to pay the bills. Davenport standing up to Haslam is hilarious though. I'll give him that.

Hopefully he meant to say Petersen. Patterson is lovked up at TCU. Cool if he really goes after Fuente. Maybe Fulmer surprises us?
Are you serious lol. Peterson is good but more I looked at it heard many say he is content in West Coast especially when his dad has always went to Washington games. It would take a lot to get Peterson and when you are rich what does it matter? Patterson body of work is very impressive at TCU. Look who he has to recruit against... Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, not to mention many more. One game does not define a coach. Patterson would be a homerun hire period

Only thing left is for Phil to hire himself as coach. From what I hear he has sabotaged this whole thing just so he could get the AD job. Didnt he pull some more of this nonsense when they made him coach in the 90s.

The only way Patterson or Fuentes come to UT is if Fulmer gets the office manager to forge their names on the contracts.;)

Thrilled at the thought, but this is Basilio. No offense.

What's everybody's problem with him? Everytime he and swain say something with any kind of news, people rip them, and say they have no sources, and people laugh at them.. Id listen to the before anybody on the state run radio system.. Plus basilio, has been doing this for how long? You think he wouldn't of developed some friendships and sources? And swain, well, you all know he's a former player, and pretty much the same for him as friendships and sources go.. Geesh people, stop trying to be a-holes, and just accept or don't accept the info these guys give... Rant over.. Lol..
