Texas should run the Big 12 the same way Clemson runs the ACC. Hell, it should be even easier because Texas doesn't even have to put any effort into recruiting. Nonetheless Herman could barely win 10 games.

Sark coaching in the NC doesn’t seem like the right call to me. If you’re going to head another program then you should be all in for that program.

I agree, of course pruitt did the same thing. When they do that it doesn't seem they are truly focused on their hc job.

Texas isn't really our footprint. Herman still was beginning to turn that thing around. Finished 8-3 this season and found Texas QB of the future in the bowl game. Speaking of Bowl Games he's 5-1 in them.

Actually that young qb, is the only thing that bothered me about Herman, it was easy to see he was the best qb. What's wrong with so many coaches who are supposed to have a lot of football knowledge, who can't evaluate and tell who their best qb is. Mullen, Kirby, Pruitt, even Ohio State who missed it on Morrow.

That's another thing and I will admit I fell for it but Fulmer should have turned his no experience azz down for that. UT needed him. I hope Pruitt can fix this but I am for the university first.

Texas most likely kicked the tires on Matt Campbell to gauge interest and didn’t receive enough to justify the faux pas PR risk if an in-conference HC turned them down cold.

Hiring Kiffin was the only good move for Fulmer and Majors approved .Fulmer could have made right with the hire why hire a no experienced Pruitt over Kiffin who would admit he made a mistake by leaving Tennessee.
