To the SEC refs...

And I think it was Byrd that dropped a pass and went out of bounds, SC player hits him out of bounds, then they do live interview with the SEC jerk. He says was a good call! Why do they ever interview him, he is not going say, no they missed that one. He has never said they made bad call. But, the best announcers will call it a bad call.
never mind

It really means the officials should be calling fair games without looking at who is wearing which uniform before deciding on a call.
In a perfect world that would be happening, but it’s obviously not.

The one that really irritated me was Jennings wildcat run late in the 4th quarter, and the SC player is shoving him into the ground repeatedly, which should have been flagged, and then gets up shoving and swinging at one of our OL and still no flag. WTH????

Agreed, I saw that and couldn’t figure out why Taylor was a personal foul and that was nothing. Pruitt is dead on about the inconsistency of calls. Impossible to play if definitions change weekly. I felt the defender launched himself and led with the helmet while also being late on the play JG got hurt but no call, Jennings got hit late on that same play but no call

Every referee in the SEC knows Coach Pruitt is going to chew their ass! No way in Hell would I be the ref that works Pruitt's side of the field!!!

But today you would have had Muschamp on the other side. I wouldn't want his side either.

They also missed some calls on the Vols, like Callaway's score. They called 24 for the shove from the end zone, but didn't call Callaway for slowing up before the goal line, taunting and teasing 24. I thought sure we'd get stuck for 15 on the kickoff.

It’s a shame there really is no recourse either
It isn't public but each program gets to submit their complaints each week to the league office. Every once in a while an official will "disappear". I think the same two guys "missed" the face mask and INT against MC.

Seriously, it will be tempered a bit because of the W, but our fans need to keep this in forefront of the conversation and keep it in the media to force the SEC to improve. All the ones not in favor of the Vols and even egregious holding on J Johnson in the red zone not called on us.

Bombard the SEC head folks with photo evidence and maybe send it to news centers regularly until it gets national attention. Trust me, enough of this will reign it in. We're VN, we got rid of that OSU child molester enabler, didn't we? We're VN, we can do this but collaborate it so we flood them with photo evidence together. Try to get the refs in the picture too showing they saw it but didn't call it. Coaches and players aren't allowed to call refs out but fans can do whatever we want.

What killed me was the blatant facemask, I believe, on JJ. It was so clear on the replays the refs had to see it. White hat dude must have got a six month supply of Cheerwine for that one.
