To Protect and to Serve II

Lol... running from the police is quite understandable.
Sure it is 🙄 for criminals and intellectually challenged people. In high school I was pulled over because the make and color of the car I was driving was just stolen elsewhere in town. I cooperated, was pulled out of the car and guess what? The officers calmly explained to me what was going on after patting me down for weapons and apologized for the inconvenience. I went back on my way, because I knew what they were doing and why. I didn’t have some low IQ emotional reaction and start screaming or fighting or running. Funny how that works sometimes

You won't find any sympathy here by condoning that video. Sorry but **** like this is why people hate cops.
People who “hate cops” are usually one of the following
-criminals or those who enable them
-someone who had bad experience with a bad officer so assumes ALL law enforcement is the same
-someone who is ignorant of actual law and police training procedures
-someone who hates authority

Drugs kill people daily. Including several 20-30 yr olds sitting in the hospital with failing hearts and kidneys
The drug by itself can't do anything without human intervention. If a person (adult) chooses to use a drug of their own free will, then no crime has occurred. If a person is unknowingly drugged or I would meet you you halfway and say if someone gives/sells drugs to a minor, then you have a crime. But someone being arrested just possessing drugs is pre-crime.

Problem is these intoxicated subjects are in public and cause harms to others with their behaviors and actions. I could care less if someone shoots up at home until they die. That’s on them

Wouldn’t you think the actual harm they cause should be the crime? Not what substance the state deems to be distasteful?

Drug use by itself honestly isn’t the issue. Like I said, someone shoots up heroin at home and dies. That’s on them. The issues are drug dealers who commit violent crimes and other crimes to sell drugs, addicts who steal and hurt others to support their habit, AND that intoxicated people in public are a danger to themselves and others

Don’t you understand that prohibition causes all of that? I thought we learned this in the 1920’s and 30’s.

This is true. Do enough coke fry the electrical system of your heart and blow it up with pressure the kidneys follow. Putting VADS in 30 year olds used to shock me. Now i just ask how many times an OD has been narcanned in the past.... Jaded i tell you.

No it doesn’t. You honestly believe that if all drugs were instantly legal, that these issues would go away and you don’t understand gang activity nor the opioid crisis

And that’s not even covering addicted babies in NICU

I understand if you eliminate the market provided by prohibition, you’re less likely to have such widespread problems. Look into Portugal and what happened when they legalized drugs.

The difference between Prohibition and the war on drugs is that at least Prohibition was Constitutional if not misguided. The wod is unconstitutional. Also, the govt did poison alcohol during prohibition which is kind of sick.
