Also from the article: French was able to drive and cook but was unable to live on his own and hadn't spoken in recent years, Shureih told the newspaper. He said he wasn't sure of French's exact disability.

I wonder how he knows all these things but not what disability it was. No telling what happened prior to the shooting. That cop better have some darn good eyewitness accounts and Costco video to justify what he did.

When I was in 6th grade there was this a-hole 8th grader who, for some reason, didn't like me and messed with me on a daily basis. One day, for some reason, he decided to spit on me as I walked by him and I had had enough. I then proceeded to go after him and punch him in the nose as hard as I could and knocked him on the ground. Now before you think I'm claiming to be a hero, that was essentially the highlight of the fight for me. The guy then got up and pretty much beat the crap out of me. The difference in a 6th grader and an 8th grader can be fairly significant. He was essentially a young man and I was still a boy. So I got my ass kicked and even got suspended for a few days (I threw the first punch).

Here's the catch though... That guy never messed me again. Bullies don't want to mess with people who are gonna fight back, even if it's a fight they can win.

So true. I stood up to a couple of bullies in middle school and we actually became decent friends in high school.

I mean what sort of mayhem was about to unfold that you kill an unarmed guy and shoot his unarmed elderly parents? Costco isn’t exactly Compton or something.

The flip side is, how many times have we seen sweet pictures of thugs and hear about what good kids they are? This relative could be getting a jump on the info to sway public opinion.

Possibly, but I doubt a nonverbal adult living with his parents is repping a very thuggish life.
