If they have probable cause no. Now what constitutes probable cause is an entirely different debate.
I don't agree with that in alot of cases, however if and when it effects me I'll address it through the channels afforded to me at the time
It is extremely easy for cops to pass anything off as PC, and in the few scenarios where even they can't muster up an excuse, they can just lie. Your word vs theirs. Stop and frisk, checkpoints and no knock entry are violations of our rights. With that understanding, they are not separate debates.
Wait until it effects you?
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out..

They don't need PC. If you are holding a highway checkpoint, aren't you essentially assuming everyone on the highway is a potential suspect?
Oh but wait... driving is not a right, but a privilege.
Obviously. And you seem to be fine with the state being involved with every aspect of your life. Its quite pathetic.
For the record, the rifle of the Swiss during the time of WW2 was the K31 Schmidt Rubin rifle. Those were kept at home by the citizens.
I will say, as much as most here seem to love government, if we were invaded, yall would likely feel right at home with yet another states boot on your throat.
As the Chicago Tribune reported this morning, University of Utah Economics Professor Richard Fowles and I have just completed an important article on the 2016 Chicago homicide spike. Through multiple regression analysis and other tools, we conclude that an ACLU consent decree trigged a sharp reduction in stop and frisks by the Chicago Police Department, which in turn caused homicides to spike. Sadly, what Chicago police officers dubbed the "ACLU effect" was realand more homicides and shootings were the consequence.
The Orlando nightclub terrorist's dad was a secret FBI informant for more than a decade, prosecutors revealed, prompting questions about whether authorities may have missed warning signs leading up to the massacre.
The news, disclosed Saturday to lawyers representing the Pulse nightclub shooter's wife, Noor Salman, in her own terrorism case related to the attack, also led to immediate calls by the defense for a mistrial.
"Seddique Mateen was a FBI confidential human source at various points in time between January 2005 and June 2016, the defense lawyers, in a court document filed Sunday, quoted Assistant United States Attorney Sara Sweeney as saying in a letter.
The crap you and Ras and the rest of the cop haters are constantly whining about. You really think crying like a bunch of petulant 2 year olds on a message board is going to change anything?
What do you think is the solution? Is voting or getting the right candidate in office the fix?
I don't know what the answer is. I do know that getting belligerent with a cop, or refusing to comply isn't going to end well. I also know that complaining on a message board might make people feel better, but it isn't going to change anything.
I have a feeling most law enforcement officers, if asked if they are willing to die today, to take my gun, most are going to say it's not worth it. You can go about your life and go home to your family, or, you can die today because of a paycheck.....which choice is more likely?
