To Protect and to Serve II

I want one of you cops or cop lovers to explain this BS... No warrant, no probable cause, no permission.

New Jersey is catching up to Oklahoma looks like...

"Stop resisting..."

It is remarkable, the different treatment – even down to looks – I get, depending on which of the two I happen to be driving. The odds of being pulled over for literally no reason at all – a fishing expedition predicated on the loosest of pretexts, such as a license plate frame being akimbo or as in Ayala’s case, window tint – are probably 100 percent greater in the truck than in the new BMW.

Absent her credentials – and the clear threat that represented, not to the “safety” of these cops but to something vastly more important to them, i.e., their continued employment – there is a very good chance one of them would have “smelled marijuana” and you know what comes next.

I love this because it reminds me of an Ayn Rand quote.

This is what happens when literally everyone is subject to being pulled over and harassed at any moment, on the flimsiest of pretexts and sometimes not even that.

When “illegal” encompasses everything.

The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Ayn Rand

Looks like the K-9s need better training, also.

That first video blows me away. The guy is on his knees with his hands above his head when the cop sicks the dog on him and has the balls to say stop resisting as the dog is chewing his arm up. When do *******s like these start going to jail?

This must be a "trick of the trade" that has been carried over from the old days when we didn't have body cams or dash cams to record the action. I'm sure that if there were no cameras around and only eyewitnesses on the scene and some recording devices, it sounds good and favorable for a cop to say "stop resisting", "stop grabbing my gun" and "stop running". I bet that if all you had were just eyewitnesses and audio, I bet that would really move a jury and compel them to think that the officers were only trying to bring down a person that was fighting with them tooth and nail. Also, they would be on record with voicing these commands as they file their police reports, yet another way to cover themselves from perjury or filing a false report.

But with today's technology, it makes the cops look and sound ridiculous and like they are staging a narrative.

Just thinking about it... for the cops' sake. But this is the most inefficient way to bring in an individual you could possibly have. It ended up being 6-8 cops involved in bringing this one guy into custody. The rest of the neighborhood could be terrorized by dangerous criminals and not be worried about getting caught because the entire precinct is tied up on one guy.

More Oklahoma buffoonery. So this trooper doesn't like it that the ambulance didn't yield to the median, even though there was a car already on the side of the highway at the time the trooper came up to the ambulance.

I swear, I hate the majority of these cops...

Police cameras turned off.

This is bad but I find it hard to believe that they went there to intentionally execute this lady. Sounds to me to be more likely a tragic accident.

I'm sure that's a comfort to all who knew her.

What about the cops that have saved people? Is that a comfort to those folks? I realize you probably have a hard time with it but accidents happen. I've been critical of cops on here but when it's warranted. This appears to be a tragic accident. It's says a lot about you that you can't discern the difference. Be careful. One of these days you may need a cop.
