Citizens need to be made aware (educated) that 911 is for emergencies only. Not for this homeless guy won't get off the bus or this guy walked into my store without a mask on.

Its like arguing with a woman with some of you cops. You take every example and personalize it. "Not all cops.." or "I've never done that.." well, maybe "you" haven't, but far too many of you cops do.

and again, who do you think will handle those problems, especially since probably 25-50% of them escalate into a fight, or other types of criminal behavior and violence?

That's just what YOUR belief is, it's not reality...there are over 4 million encounters with law enforcement and citizens a year and you are talking about maybe 1,000 that YOU believe are serious abuse/criminal behavior/misconduct by police and of those only about 1-2% are actually that... Your definition of "too many of you cops" is arbitrary and not based on anything concrete.

yes owners of private property and their designees can tell anyone to leave their property at anytime for smoking, for not wearing masks when asked, for wearing a tshirt with an offensive curse word on it, for loitering, etc....do you disagree with this?

so how else can people remove violent people from their place of businesses when they refuse? The lady who owns a restaurant going to take down the homeless psych dude on PCP who's threatening to hit her? What's she going to do with him?

Yes. That is kinda unfortunate. Lesson learned type of scenario but in these types of cases the property not tied to the drug conspiracy through proof (her mothers ring) would be returned to her after the hearing, sometimes before the administrative hearing. But her anger should’ve been toward the dope dealing boyfriend for putting her in that position. I would’ve stayed away from seizing that kind of thing anyhow I was more interested in the diamond clustered 80k Rolex or the customized necklace that was popular in the day

That episode pretty much ended the relationship with that guy. She claimed he’d told her they were going for a vacation and that she didn’t know he was bringing drugs back. It’s been so long I can’t fully recall, but I think she did get her ring and money from her purse back. Thinking about it now, I can’t believe I drove from Nashville to Atlanta at first light to go and get her. .... but that’s what friends do

Baltimore Cop Slammed Man On Crutches Into Pavement For Improperly Wearing Mask | ZeroHedge

Walker is said to have entered the grocery store with a face mask on top of his head, instead of covering his mouth and notes.

When Officer Pringle was called by store management to intervene, things escalated. Here's how prosecutors described the ordeal which led to Walker's head getting slammed to the ground:

Walker, who was using a crutch and had a cast on his right foot, refused to pull the mask down over his mouth and nose, according to the release and indictment. A store manager called Pringle, who was working in the store, for assistance.​

"Officer Pringle, who was in full BPD uniform at the time, approached Walker and advised him that he had to leave the store," prosecutors said. "The two began walking towards the exit. Walker was yelling and cursing at Officer Pringle as they continued towards the automated entry/exit doors."​

Once in the vestibule, Walker stopped and "glared" at Pringle, prosecutors said. The officer allegedly grabbed Walker by his jacket, shoved him outside, and then slammed him to the ground face-first causing Walker to hit his head on the pavement.​
