To Protect and to Serve II

Their punishment should be doubled for who they are and how stupid they are.
Habitual laziness here and a lack of supervision. This is likely something where 20 years ago a large group of lazy officers stated "it's easier to just leave it in your trunk and go to court with it" then drive all the way back to evidence to retrieve it. Stupid leadership does stupid things

Then they deserve super stupid prizes.

It's not being a "sheep" to understand basic laws

It is being a sheep to obey stupidity without some form of resistance. I've said earlier that that chick was stupid, she could have had a lot of fun screwing with that jackass and there would have been nothing he could have done.

You’re right Ricky, but you can’t fix stupid so it’s best to leave hog alone.
I don't think hog is stupid, and usually i agree with him on a lot of topics, but the legal basis for private property and public property and your rights to be there are clear

The "sheep" part is not having a firm grasp of the difference between what is legal and what is right. Just because you are allowed to legally do something, that doesn't make it right. Likewise, just because something is illegal, that doesn't make it wrong.

Laws a lot of times have no foundation in basic common sense or natural law.

Again, you are blinded by the letter of the law, yet don't use common sense to say, "You know, we shouldn't be tasing and arresting people for not wearing a mask".

Edit: Or, we shouldn't be throwing people out of open air stadiums for not wearing a mask. Or, the thought should at least cross your mind that it really wasn't but 6 months ago that none of this would have been an issue, whether on private or public property.

No one was tased for not wearing a mask, they were tased and arrested for refusing to leave when told to, by people who had the legal authority to do so

And you still dont get it. 6 months ago no one was kicked out of a public or private building or open air facility for not wearing a damn mask. All you cops do is help to feed into this nonsense by putting people in cuffs and throwing them in squads cars. This entire situation is bogus.

People are arrested for refusing to leave or abide by rules in public buildings all the time. Way before covid. And way after covid

Just curious, do you always blindly follow the "rules" no matter how stupid or ridiculous they are? Wearing a mask is not a law that needs to be obeyed.

No matter how stupid you think a rule may be you don’t have a choice on other people’s property to do what you want to

So are you required to enforce laws or rules?
If someone has authority to ask someone to leave their property for any reason and they refuse the police can and will remove them because it’s not their property. Happens every day all over the country. Schools, stores, gas stations, hospitals, everywhere. The person can follow the rules set or freely leave the property but they can’t do neither

Just as a follow up, if I have a rule that anyone that comes on my property if required to be naked, are you going to enforce that "rule"?
No but if you ask the police to remove someone who refuses toget naked and refuses to leave when you asked, they can be arrested. Not hard to get

You guys have seriously lost your way in enforcing law because you don't see the spirit of it anymore just the letter of it.

I call Bs. You can be selective and give warnings all day long without arresting someone but when a moron goes on someone else’s property and refuses to leave when asked for any reason that is on them and they deserve to be arrested
