Oh bull... you just can't vociferously defend the cops and their actions in this thread. So you selectively pick and choose your spots. Today, you figured this was your moment... but then failed when it even was obvious to you that the cop was being a jerk/toying around.

Again, under the circumstances, I would expect a cop to be professional and not being obtuse and illusive.

If he directly disobeyed an order he very well could have been fired. He was doing what he was ordered to do. He was trying to bend the rules but they were to stupid to or to ignorant to listen. If you have a problem with the policy take it up with his boss.

Is it within the rules to shoot people in the back or plant dope on people? Cops seem to have no trouble doing that, but not getting out of the way to let people evacuate.

Just look at the first 20 seconds of video and tell me if the cop was being cooperative or going into his CYA/illusive legalese.

These people, under these conditions, don't have the time or the patience for some cop mouthing off riddles.

Again, this video is 4 mins longer than it needed to be, thanks to this vop. Hell, I wold argue it wouldn't even exist at all if he would have followed common sense instead of a silly azz order.

If these people would have left when they were supposed to this never would have happened. Now they want the cop to bend the rules for them. The cop was trying to help them but they were too stupid to do what he was suggesting.

They were suppose to evacuate and didn't, they then got scared and decided to evacuate after the garage was shut down. They didn't follow the rules and then wanted the cop to bend the rules for them. They were only victims of their own dumbassery.

See this is why cops fail so often to connect with the people they are supposed to serve and protect... because they are unable to exercise a little bit of common sense. Under those circumstances, "every single person" was not coming back... so that isn't even a possibility worth discussing. It was only about this handful of people at that moment.

And this where the idiots failed to use basic common sense, twice. The first time when they were told to evacuate and the second when the officer old them to to exactly what you were asking them to do and they were too stupid to do it. Maybe he should have written down with a bright colored crayon and used illustration.

There are times when you post cops doing bad things and I have agreed they were bad but this is not one of them. You are so blinded by your hatred for all cops that you can't even see it. Sad.

You don't know who all was going back, so yes it's quite relevant. Every person who went back would have been let in you dork, not everyone on earth. If these people had on video that they were let in (really, really stupid on them to video this) and others were turned away the cop is ****ed. Of course he stuck to his orders.

It's funny to me that they took a video of this encounter and then they upload it like it was a bad cop. These people are morons. Complete morons. I hope they never got past those immovable barricades because of their stupidity.
