Make sure it is a local guy who knows the magistrate. Also get a local police officer to give an opinion on the matter so the magistrate doesn't need to accept the state police view. Play up the constant rift between local and state authorities.

The apartmen complex I am building is directly across the street from that mall on Northlake commons pkwy....I was on site til noon today. Didn't see the ruckus from that shooting tho. I was actually in that mall yesterday, got my wife some coffee from the Starbucks from Christmas and hit the life way across the street to get her a few things for her stocking etc. That shooting will likely cost the mall millions in lost shoppers. It's the newest mall in Charlotte nut is very close to some bad neighborhoods near UNCC...bad area.

This cop should have handled this much differently but I guarantee if when my daughters turn 15... Choose to show up to school drunk..... Hit their mom and school administrators.... You won't want to watch the video of what happens when I get ahold of them.

I don't have a doubt in my mind that most parents would react in the way you are eluding to, but that still doesn't give the cops the right to act a damn fool and throw down a civilian unprovoked and from behind... on a girl he had a significant height and weight advantage over.

As a matter of fact, I doubt very seriously YOU would allow an officer or any other man to pull this stunt on your daughter.

The mom was ok with what happened to her daughter..... It depends on the situation and how I felt in the moment..... Knowing that she just got done hitting her mom than I more than likely would have been fine with it and thought lesson learned

I said I agreed with that.... I just said that I'm not sure if I would have a problem with it if it was my kid.... I think that mom had reached that limit.
