'19 TN /WR Lance Wilhoite

Right now, in-state 4-stars Woodi Washington and Trey Knox are scheduled to workout with Tennessee’s staff on June 23. After initially committing to camp, Adonis Otey’s plans are up in the air. Wideout Lance Wilhoite is unlikely to camp.

Woody Wommack showing big time love to TN recruits this round.

He has a close relationship with NPA, thus the high ratings for their kids. It's crazy to see the discrepancy between Rivals and 247 with the Middle TN kids this year. Several Top 100's on Rivals are 3-stars on 247.

He covers our events and that's it. Barton also does and is much closer as we've been working with him since he was at Rivals.

Interesting. Good stuff. Is the Mattison kid one of your guys? Thoughts on him as a prospect?

Yes he is and Gyasi is a freakish athlete. The kid can make crqzy plays as a Wr or Db. Some of the plays I've seen him make are unreal. I could definitely see him at a P5 school but he could also elect to go right under P5 and hv success either way.

Btw Woody doesn't make the rating solo. There's always a few Rivals and 247 guys present.

So in your opinion where is the disconnect between staff and the few mid state guys coming from?

Not sure there's a disconnect but what many hv to realize is you hv guys who want to win a NC so camping at FSU and tOSU is more intriguing. Who besides Bama is putting out players like tOSU? Also guys don't want to get their bodies over worked when they hv school workouts, training, and need rest for what they consider major national events like The Open and Rivals 3 Stripe Challenge.

Man...
Kids were better athletes when they could just enjoy their summers.

Pruitt is building a NC program as well. He wants competitors who want it bad enough to go out and earn it. If that's not important to some of the instate kids, well, too bad. Go elsewhere then. UT will be just fine without them.

Normally agree with you but over worked my ass they are 16-17 year old kids. They can go all day. I do agree with camping at Ohio State Bama etc over us. We just gotta get back to that.
