'19 TN /WR Lance Wilhoite

If he's so great, then how come he doesn't wear cleats during practice?

I don't think we truly appreciate what a terrible, terrible hire Butch Jones and nearly all of his assistants were.

Just for you Newt!

STOCK RISING
WR Lance Wilhoite, Nashville, Tenn.

Just a few weeks ago, Tennessee wasn’t believed to be one of the top teams in the running for the four-star wide receiver, who’s ranked the state’s No. 1 prospect in the 247Sports Composite. But his feelings on the Vols have changed since his visit to UT the weekend of April 14, his first trip to Knoxville since Pruitt’s hiring. Tennessee now seems to have plenty of momentum with Wilhoite, and some close to his recruitment even have suggested that the Vols now might be the slight favorites to land him. He’s not expected to make a decision soon, but Tennessee now might be the team to beat.

so, given what has come out from vegas on o/u for the season, and what many prognosticators think about this roster, in year one of a new staff (regardless of how high in esteem they may hold them), conventional wisdom says we lose to everyone we're supposed to...bama, auburn and GA, and at least 3 of the toss up games...FL, WVU, USCe, KY, MO, Vandy and we'll win the 3 cup cakes.

i don't think you can put 9-3 cause it most likely means you still lost to who you were supposed to and won all the toss ups.

8-4 basically says the same thing. both a lot better than expected, but COY worthy?

i don't think you can talk COY w/out 8+ wins and a win from one of those 3 we're not supposed to win.

i think he'd get a lot of atta boys and high accolades for a job really well done with 8+. i think 7 does that.

but COY? would have to do something not expected imo.

if he does that as a first time HC, then he def deserves it.

Jumped to #1 ranked Tennessee recruit on 247.

.9542 composite

He and Mitchell should be ranked two of the Top 3 guys in the state IMO. It sounds like those are the only two uncommitted guys the staff would take right now in-state. It doesn't even sound like Washington is a take at this point.
