lol @ quit leaving the “p” out of his name. It was a typo, relax. You knew what I was referring to. Sampson was developed here though. DGG is an entirely different beast and Heupel has not had a RB talent of his caliber. I’m saying this as a Sampson fan too.

It’s not. The Quebec trip happened a couple of weeks ago. We are still in good shape. Wiltfong’s report is probably 2-3 weeks behind on info that’s already been shared by our guys locally. Vols are in good shape still. Nothing is all the way done but we’re still in good shape.

I’m not even debating that. My point is that when we narrowed the splits and simplified the passing game, we had the best results running the ball.

I would also say that Sampson was underrated coming out of HS. Not that uncommon. I’d also agree that it would be great to see what a top level prospect could do in this offense.

Literally did it two years ago. They wanted David Sanders more than any other recruit and we got him. This loser mentality BVS is pathetic. You know who always gets the main recruit they want EVERY cycle? CJH. This year that player is DGG. Stamped and signed. Count on it. Vol.

Good grief, you have zero clue what you’re talking about. ‘We’ simplified the offense due to a simpleton QB who didn’t grasp the offense. We had enough threats at WR with Brazzell and Thornton to keep defenses honest to run the ball. Sampson was a great back at UT. But he’s not a needle mover like DGG is. Stay over in the football forum talking about strength and conditioning

DeSean Bishop was a standout in the 2023 O&W game as a EE. All our media was hyping him.

Then he got hurt going into fall camp.

Was pretty clear by then, even to me who laughed at some of the guys hyping this PWO in the offseason, that we had found one of those "diamonds in the rough".

So for me, Sims doesn’t get enough credit for this to save him if we miss here. AP says Locklyn tells everyone who will listen he has DGG locked down. If that’s true— bye DeRail.

Yeah it was mostly Dylan being a dog and breaking a lot of big chunky runs. Not the simplified passing game.

I guess CJH didn't really want Hiter last cycle, since he didn't get him.

He’s referring to his overall top target. Faizon Brandon was his top target of Hiter class. David Sanders, the class before that, Nico the class before that. DGG is what they are to him this class cycle.
