nahhh, i tweet, and retweet recruits....my nephew and his friends, kids i know. Twotter is like a gray mqtter we have to deal with, recruits asking for attention and adults willing to give it to them. So iyo its not ok to interact with kids but it is ok to peruse message boards discussing the importance of these kids....

I doubt it was even that. More likely some rival fan (UGA or Clemson, makes no difference) made some sort of comment about how they thought the meeting might have gone, and by the time it gets to VN it is a full blown rumor. Give it another week to marinate and some "insider" will tell us that Pruitt went full-on Orgeron, started knocking down Red Bulls while sitting on the couch, ripped off his shirt, and chased Mrs. Mays around the house screaming "Baw Baw!!

Or......a logical explanation and timeline. Kid bleeds orange, his whole life, Dad was a Vol, kid is a legacy, commits to UT in the summer of his freshman year (July 2015.)

He heard 2016, 2016, 2016 since the day Jones arrived, but we finished the regular season a pedestrian 8-4. So, we swore 2017 was the year. He was at Neyland on Sept. 30, to see Georgia, with only a second year coach, whip us 41-0. He came back for another unofficial visit 2 weeks later, we lost a close one to SC. Oct. 21 we took another severe beating at Alabama. The result? The following 2 weekends, Mays visited Clemson then Georgia. He now sees a program that went 0-8 in the SEC with a rookie HC coming in.

Note: A Georgia buddy told me 3 years ago, when Pruitt worked for Richt, Pruitt can be brash and sometimes says the wrong thing at the wrong time.

BUT, with Mays, the damage was done long before Pruitt arrived. Mays wasn't going to change his mind, cursing or not.

There is a BIG difference between discussing topics/recruits on a PUBLIC message board and injecting yourself into someone's life you dont even know by posting on their PERSONAL social media page.

In MY opinion it's weird, but that's my opinion. Everyone has to come to their own conclusions and their own decisions on the matter.

Actually I live back in Tennessee, just never changed it back. My source is a former player that played at UT and is close friends with Cades high school coach.

IF Cade's priority was to play for, and win championships, he NEVER would have COMMITTED to a SALESMAN, POSING as a COLLEGE FB COACH. He's one of many 17 / 18 y/o kids Jones brainwashed.

You know I wish Cade would shock the world and sign with UT just to watch all of you message board warriors turn around and say how great he is. He gave more to UT than most of you with all the recruiting he did, especially with Trey Smith. If you can’t be grown enough to get off a high school kids ass for where he wants to go to college ignore the thread.

Best of luck to Cade wherever he goes.

I’m quite certain they will lose. And when they do, remember that Dabo will be gone midway through his career. Mays is walking away from his instate school and a great OL coach in Friend. It will be a mistake.

If he doesn't want to come, that's fine. If his heart isn't with UT, I don't want the kid. Go where he pleases. Don't care. Really think he's destined to RS. He just not ready to help us right now. Seems like these 5 star types rarely pan out and are usually management problems. Give me a 3 star kid with a strong work ethic and something to prove and I will whip your butt on Saturdays.
