Not that this has anything to do with him getting into school, but when I was at UT, I always thought guys should be able to major in their sport. Before people say that is a mockery of the education system, well majoring in "Sport Management" or something along that line is as well.
If you major in football, then you have to take the core classes of "Speech/Interviewing," "Personal Finance," "English/Intro to Journalism," "Nutrition," and "Psychology."
That would teach them more about the real world than what they have to pass now. JMO.
I don't know why aren't more excited about Gooden. After all the problems he has had academically he is going to get his chance. As a football talent he is a HUGE GET, he has all the tools to a great one. If he get's his act together in the classroom this would be a monster pickup. Pruitt will make or break him. GBO!!!!!!

I'll be excited when get sets foot in a Tennessee classroom. I'll be skeptical until then.
Gooden is a blue chip football player. Serious talent. Serious potential. If we can get this man on the field we'll be the better for it. We need it badly.
