'26 TN CB Jamyan Theodore (Tennessee commit)

Yes it is, he would just run however fast he needed to win usually. Just nice and fluid without a ton of energy spent it looks like when he runs. I figured with some prep and spikes and such Jamyan would run low 11 in 100. For some reason a few of their football players(Baylor) didn’t really run much. Dodson only ran 100 3 times I think and the 200 and 400 a time or 2.
Hes probably sub-11 with proper training.
The thing about Jamyan is his high level of awareness and recognition. That makes him faster on the play.

And Anderson on the other side with his speed and length are two really good CB prospects.

Excited to see what Willie Martinez can do with them.

Yeah, both went up for the visit and both loved it with more visits to TN to come for the 2. When I first watched him run I seriously thought he was a senior because he took off and left some really fast guys, didn’t know until got home to see he was a freshman! As far as Tyner being a hotbed, both really would be better off at Baylor or McCallie. Not sure I remember the last time a Tyner player was a big time recruit and did well at college level in football.
Edwards' brother went to McCallie fwiw. Played DL at MTSU

He is another Canadian guy at Baylor. He just went to a school in Ohio for a year before Baylor last year.

Watched him in person vs McCallie and he had 3 interceptions in the first half (including a pick six). Him and DGG made that game over in the first quarter. All were against Keeyshawn Tabuteau who has P4 offers, including one he straight up ripped away from him. He needs to add more mass to his frame but he's about 6'0, smooth, and physical. Has receiver background so really good ball skills. Think he would be a great zone corner but don't see it being an issue fitting into Tennessee man coverage for corners. Saw him again vs McCallie on tv in state championship game and had another pick. Big time special teamer as well.

I get it’s HS competition….am I crazy or this dude really good at football?

He's just new to the scene. I don't know what his ranking was but he left Canada for a school in Ohio as a sophomore and was previously primarily a receiver. Baylor didn't have any corners so he had to play there only for the first time and clearly it went well. I like him a lot as a zone corner, so maybe he moves inside in this defense but he's big/strong/fast

@Vol8188

See here how I absolutely degrade and shun Willie Martinez!!

My scouts opinion is right on this one??

Dude looked good. Still really Raw (he is just a junior) but good body control and athletic. A little bit of a project but good recruit.

Only like the second year he been truly a full time corner. He came down from Canada to spend his sophomore season in Ohio actually and was a receiver up there

And he’s very good.

So many players in this class that we have committed.

Theordoe doesnt have the raw talent of Zadyn Anderson but he’s more polished as a CB.
He should be in the lineup a lot next season. No RS for him.

I don't see it, unless we are thin at CB. He needs to gets bigger and stronger. I'm looking at his size, and the chicken fighting with the WR on the 8/29 video 10 yards down the field. Unless that is a high major WR then the talent in front of you in the SEC is astronomically better.

Yeah he is still pretty raw win my opinion. Foot work isn’t the best but his instincts are good and just the athleticism and he plays smart… I have only seen him play one game but that is what I took away.
I used to study this stuff (thought I was going to be a secondary coach for a year or two) of course you might know more than me, just what I saw from one game.
