We were in this game due to our coaching. The talent level across the board between UT and Ga. is nowhere near being the same. Georgia had superior talent had virtually every position. Even our strongest of positions (QB, receivers, LB's) can not be interpreted to be at the same level as Georgia's. WOW... That's asinine...

We are at best, another 2 to 5 years away talent-wise to be a top 5 team... There's a difference between being a fan and being unrealistic. You fall in the latter's category...

I personally would love to see our coaching staff with the talent level that Georgia possesses. And I think in a couple of years, we will see that! But, UT is NOT there yet!

U are just dead wrong. You've been listening to Dooley too much. I'm no recruiting expert but I've seen a whole handful of articles that have used some formula taking the last 4 or 5 recruiting classes and averaged them out. In fact there was one on here yesterday the had us averaging the 12th ranked class over a 5 year period vs Uga being 10th. That's nowhere near the same? Just ridiculous. We have future nfl players at virtually every position. Just not even worth responding to. Go on and continue your celebration. Maybe we can keep the score within 25 when we play bama. Bet you'll be crying tears of joy if that happens.

I am behind this team, but I've also seen the defense play. I hope we win them all, but assuming we will WIN one more game this year could be a reach. Besides Bama, we "could" win every other game on the schedule, but it is not going to be completely shocking if we lose them all either? Our defense is deplorable. I love the vols, but we are going to give up yards and points to anyone we play. Still very proud of our effort yesterday. GO VOLS!

My point is this is the first game chaney actually did his job the right way. If he keeps it up im all for him, but as of now im not a fan.

in them.the mistakes are learnable from.think of this,how much did you hear the name Jarvis Jones yesterday?

I think people are dogging the miserable coaching staff that is getting paid millions to deliver up caca sandwiches. Yesterday was a caca sandwich with a pickle and chips. Better than a plain caca sandwich but still a caca sandwich. BTW, UTC is probably the perfect spot for the moral victory crowd. This program needs a fanbase that demands excellence or it'll be mired in the weeds for a generation.

No, this is sad. I'm not proud we lost, I'm proud that our team tried to win for four quarters and that Rajon looked like an SEC RB. I'm proud that the team I proudly call myself a fan of, played the best team in the SEC East to the last minute of the game. Am I happy we lost, no because then I would sound retarded kinda like you do, but I am a fan of my team and I see them getting better.

If a frog had wings he wouldnt bump his ass every time it hopped. Im proud to be a Vols fan and proud of the team for fighting untill the game was over. The team gave up way to many big plays, but was still in a position to tie or even win the game. That speaks volume about the desire of this team to play hard and try to be a team we can be proud of. Well i am and you should be too. Go Vols.

I sympathize with your emotional outburst...I am tired of losing. I guess we all are to some extent. However, those 3 pts from the kicking team were huge... which makes your outburst somewhat meaningless which is ok but to add gruden into the discussion changed the tread entirely from criticism to nagavol. I tend to agree with alot of posters that nagavols need to find another outlet for their biased opinions. Criticism is one thing the rantings of nagavols is something all together different.

ga's dc (todd grantham) thinks CDD will turn things around if given the opportunity. Dooley didn't drop a pass or try to force one in instead of the throwing ball away.
The bammers are paying cns $6m, Gruden will exact a higher price cause he is a proven NFL HC, as we know saban was a flop at that level. :yes:

When a division opponent's coaches start giving your head coach the vote of confidence, some sort of alarm should go off in your mind.

Everyone needs to quit cryin. Does this loss suck? Yes it sure does, doesnt matter if they are more talented than us, we could of won. I am tired of losing too, I'm 23 years old and I barely remember the good ole days. Just because we arent where many fans think we should be does not mean I should act like an idiot and call for every coach to be taken to the gallows. It is not fun losing, everyone knows how serious we take our football. But sometimes its best to take a step back, take a few deep breaths, go do something that doesnt revolve around football, and chill. I dont believe our program is in the state so many nega vols think it is. Be realistic guys and chill out. GBO
