Yea man. 21 years here and I've never seen this. Its coming down sideways right now and has been for an hour and like you say, every day several times a day for almost 2 weeks. Crazy.Oh man! You aren't kidding. It's every flippin' day...multiple times per day. Everything is saturated. Same down your way?

I wish I got paid to have stupid opinions.
I knew as soon as you posted it who wrote it. Caleb Calhoun is a wannabe journalist who thinks being a contrarian makes him smart. He's all the time making dingus takes. Do yourself a favor and don't read anything he writes. Clicks only ensure his confidence in career choice.Tennessee football: No reason to believe fall camp stories hyping up Vols
Hard to argue against his point of view, but I do think we will see a much more competitive team this year.
This season needs to start...
Its opinion journalism. Its supposed to tell people how to think based on the author's opinion. Unfortunately this team in the past has given anyone who doesn't bleed orange reason to seriously pump the brakes. He is entitled to his wrong opinion. Personally I think we go 8-4 on the season and end up in the Outback Bowl.I love journalism that tells other people how they should feel or think
you're not missing anything. i haven't read it either, but based on the comments i've seen it's another "hey, don't get your hopes up, this year is no different than any other year, just let the hype train pass you by" type deal.
like he's doing a public service.
because thinking this team can go 7-5 is just too much hype to handle, and we need to be saved from ourselves...........
feel better?
man, i know i do.

You would think UT fans are expecting JG to win the HT and go 12-0.All of this is to say don’t get too excited about the insane hype behind some of Tennessee football’s weapons this year.
No. Several of you have said that in different ways but he isn't "telling it exactly like it is". He strung some mostly unrelated events from the last few years together and then drew some conclusions. Part of his conclusion is that Pruitt is a continuation of Jones so what he did last year should in no way be mitigated by it being his first year. Yeah, Helton had success elsewhere. But truth be told... his OL at WKU was probably bigger, stronger, better developed, and better trained than the one he inherited from Jones. You cannot ignore that handicap. You cannot ignore the fact that JG had either been very poorly coached and developed or simply could not "get" reads and catch up to the speed of the game.Truth stings. Dude is telling it exactly like it is.
Yeah. There's actually a lot of faulty logic. For one, he links the "hype" under Jones to Pruitt then says that because Pruitt/Helton didn't rebuild UT's O from the mess it was under Jones... that means that the good things said about various players must have been false.Very truthful article unfortunately. Really can't see one instance where he is blatantly incorrect. I hope we right the ship this year, but as a jaded VOL fan I am afraid that I will have to use the old saying...…
I'll believe it, when I see it.
