Not necessarily my routine. I'm just guessing that's why you have shin splents. I use to have them really bad. Once I learned some special stretching techniques they went away.

Well I would guess they aren't very good for fixing shin splints. Google or better yet YouTube shin splint exercises/stretches. Do that every day until they are gone.
