Is she an older version of you? I love to see them keep being active in any form. They are still loving life and being the older version of who they are.

I wish! I’m a three-toed sloth compared to her. She was an athlete her whole life, until her last 4-5 years at home.

She is WAY more engaged with life now, mainly because the staff knows how to charm her out of her room and get her going.

A good facility staff is so important. It’s about knowing the resident and their life before.

Is that your daughter? She's very pretty, and mean that in a respectful way! I've constantly told these 4 that I do not want them talking about, or to boys😂. It's hard to not end up caring about them like your own when they're constantly around. They all call Tiffany mom, and any time I'm stuck😂 driving them somewhere, I'll say love you to them all, and they say it back. They're good kids, so far😂

Yes, she’s the younger one, the six-footer. She was the head of the UT Moot Court team that went to national finals against UC-Berkeley, and she’s merciless in an argument. Fortunately for us all, I don’t think she owns firearms. I don’t think.

She’ll only shoot that gun one time with the palm of her left hand on the barrel. You only make that mistake once.

Edit: she is showing good gun safety by not having the finger on the trigger as she’s not ready to shoot.

Ehh, her friend-who’s-a-guy took her shooting on the family land. She enjoyed it, but I’m pretty sure that was just a pose.

Good to know, though, in case we ever sign on to the “Arm the Left” movement! 😎

And I do remember learning a painful version of that lesson when I snuggled a shotgun to my shoulder. Ouchies.

Yep. We read the Harper’s article and pondered. I go back and forth on it. I don’t want to think that citizens should have to have armed escorts to exercise their lawful rights, but I can sure see who was respected by law enforcement last year and who wasn’t.

What a sad world we’re in these days.

People want to believe it can’t happen again but their wrong. A stroll through history teaches us that every form of government that has ever suppressed its people has done so by disarming them first. That’s not left of right, that’s everyone

I agree it’s sad but we Jews aren’t going out like that again. Not this time.


Ok enough serious. There are plenty of places for that elsewhere.
