The Weightlifters Thread

Lol. Do you believe everything you read especially from a magazine? I bet for the one doctor in this article there are ten that will refute it. Maybe it's true but I don't see anybody taking nasty soy in place of other supplements.

Ok. I didn't really know. The post about growing breasts was more of a question than a statement.

It happens to some people naturally. It is a side effect for some who take anabolic steroids. When estrogen levels become high in relation to testosterone in a man it can happen.

I mix a heaping scoop of this with skim milk and drink after my workout:

Starting to get back into my groove after not lifting for a couple months to do p90x and cut up a bit, back to crushing 225 on my bench reps. haven't had any supplements what so ever aside from the occasional muscle milk or pre workout red bull since. Pretty psyched.

There are core, basic supplements you should focus on. Whey protein, creatine, a good multivitamin, and BCAAs. Everything else is a bonus and you should find what works for you. Always use the basics but add things in that fit your needs.

I drink whey protein isolate after my workouts and then eat dinner.

How do I incorporate BCAAs into my diet? Also, what multivitamin do you recommend and when should I take it?

Thanks

BCAAs can be taken at any time. I take mine 1st thing in the morning and after a workout. With the multi there are a lot of opinions out there on what brand is better. Typically you want to take the multi in the morning with breakfast so your body has time to absorb it during the day.

Should I be drinking my whey protein shakes daily or just on the days that I lift? I typically only drink one after every workout.

Both. If you're 25+ its good to include a protein shake first thing in the morning as well.

I've gone from 168 to 192 since July 15th. I'm about to go off everything though except for a PCT test booster. Any tips on how to maintain some of the mass I've gained?

Go to Philly, get some gray sweats, run the streets, punch raw meat, drink raw eggs, repeat.

If you been taking prohormones or any oral steroid you're gonna crash hard & quick & lose just about all of your gains. A test booster is not a pct. What are you taking 6 oxo or something?
