The Walking Dead

Just re watched the end of the episode. The writing was superb. Carol using what she had learned from Lizzie's sister when talking about the smoke made it somewhat sad.

In the end why did tyreese say we can't stay here?

I'd say it's a combo of "after what happened with the girls we can't stay here", and that he forgives her but has no interest in spending the rest of his life there just with her.

I like it. I hope he loses his mind and goes all crazy on her. Then she shoots him in the face in a fight

Won't happen. He said his peace and it'll be left at that.

Yeah it was, you need a little crazy in the group. IMO

That was far past a "little".

I honestly think I would have shot her in the face as soon as she handed me the gun.

This is chilling and says it all.

A very good episode. I had read the comics so I knew what going on, but my wife had no clue.

I still find it disappointing that it's all but confirmed that the finale is going to be them all finally getting to Terminus, and that it's going to end with them merely setting that all up. I can only guess at this point as much time as they are taking to develop storylines that they are planning on having like 6 more seasons. I can see no way they can even get into the Terminus stuff with 2 episodes left, and it looks like next week they're going to spend most of the time with Daryl and his new friends.

Perhaps, but if Terminus is supposed to the the TV-version of the Alexandria Safe-Zone, then it would have been too rushed to go from the prison to there in a few episodes.

Everybody getting split up, going in different directions, the story telling of each of their paths, each discovering the route to terminus, the struggles they endure along the way...it would just be too easy to have gone there.

As much as they've slow-rolled this half of the season, had they sped it up, they would have left out details of how they each find Terminus...which they presumably all do.

Sets up for a HUGE 5th Season, IMO...

If Terminus is Alexandria, then yes, although to me that's becoming a tad formulaic since it will essentially be how they ended Season 2 when they discovered the prison right at the end.

I'm not sure why they'd change Alexandria to Terminus in the show though, because they've kept the other major locations in tact (Hershel's farm, the Prison, Woodbury).

I saw where the guys that plays Eugene and Glen are going to be on talking dead. So I assume it'll be at least half about that group. Which will be nice. Kind of sucks that they introduced Eugene and Abraham like four episodes ago and haven't really touched on them since.

As far as this episode goes, it was definitely the best of this stretch. Having read the comics I kind I had a feeling what was coming. Still a solid episode nonetheless.

They have added new locations for instance the CDC. I'm kind of hoping Terminus is just something new. Then they'll leave there and go to Alexandria and maybe encounter the hunters on the way.

Like they said on the talking dead last night, I'm thinking not everybody gets to Terminus at the same time. I have a feeling they'll stagger it. The only thing is if they do that then there's no way the entire group gets there before the end of the season.

Lizzie was really messed up. Thinking about it when carol is walking with her she says I'm sorry I pointed the gun at you. As if that's the only thing she did wrong lol.

I think the last episode will touch slightly on Terminus and there will be some sort of cliff hanger to set up the next season.

I for one think rushing to get there would have been bad storytelling. So far we have basicslly gotten two episodes of each group showing the immediate aftermath of the prison then how they got set on the path to Terminus (Daryl and Beth never went that direction). Thats fairly balanced in actuality.

This episode was nutso. Even though there was a lot of speculation as to Lizzie and Mika being the show's Ben and Billy it still came as a shock. When Carol is talking to Lizzie after the charred walkers incident and Lizzie said "I know what I have to do now" it was chilling. Then the build up to Carol confessing to Tyrese was intense.

I do think the fire was the same Daryl and Beth set which kind of gives you an idea of how close the groups are to one another. They are probably in a 15 mile radius of each other.

I know! I was wanting Carol to ask Lizzie at the table what she thought she had to do but she never did.
What's weird when Carol and Tyrese sat down at that table somehow I knew that confession was what was about to come.
That fire was actually a lot closer to them than 15 miles though based on the smoke plume.

I meant all the groups are within 15 miles of each other. Probably less.

Will there be rabbits George?

Yeah, Lennie. There'll be rabbits.

Does this now mean that the show is possibly out of sequence and that someone Rick new was in the house?

When we going to make flowers again?

"Right after we make water miss Daisy"

You are definitely my Mika. :)

Seriously though, how did a zombie with burned nostrils know they were human?

They also track humans with their ears as well. Despite TD facts they still didn't smell them in the trunk. :)

No, it all lines up pretty much sequentially. The guys in the house were the same group Daryl met last week AFTER they ran Rick and co off. Its only been about 2-3 days since the prison attack for everyone now.

Attack on the prison was in the early afternoon. We've seen Rick through 2 nights. Beth and Daryl through 3. Maggie and Co through 2 and now Tyrese and Carol through 3. Next week will probably catch us up on How many days its been for Glenn (Im guessing it will show 1-2 nights).

My guess is that he didn't want to stay there cause all the stuff that happened. And I don't think he trusts carol

I think he knows her now and inside he agreed with Carol's decision to shoot Lizzy. That's why he was able to forgive her for Karen. He saw Carol's logic with Lizzy and how much it was hurting her. He agreed with that, but the same logic was applied to Karen. He understood why she did it. I think he trusts Carol.

As far as why they don't want to stay? Lizzy and Minka died there in an extremely effed up way. Why would anyone want to stay. They'd be reminded every day.
