The Walking Dead

No way Judith is dead.

I'm pretty sure the show runners have already confirmed she's dead. They basically said showing the bloody car seat was about as graphic as they could get.

Now they could be lying, because on the "In Memoriam" stuff on The Talking Dead, they didn't count Judith; but then again that's usually done in a bit of a spoof way and you really can't joke about a baby dying, even on a TV show.

When the zombie that took his shoe came after him at first. It looked like he shot it in the head but maybe he just grazed it or missed. I probably saw it wrong. Thanks for clearing all that up. Lol, I was like surely Carl didn't just contract something.

Would have been nice to establish where everybody was out of the gate versus a character development episode. Was hoping Carl was gonna get killed although knew it wouldn't happen.

Was really boring though.

Sometimes I wonder if people just want a whole hour of scenes like when michonne was slicing them up... everyone saying it sucks or they were bored is crazy IMO. The show would being another sucky stereotypical pile of crap of it tried to please that fan base.

There is a middle ground you know. Of people who enjoy character development, personal struggle, raw emotions coupled with some action who can objectively say that was a boring episode.

The problem with this show is the majority of actors are awful. So these episodes that are supposed to me emotionally gripping are boring as these are essentially amateurs who found their way onto a really good show.

I was pretty bored with this episode. Michonne is still a badazz at least, though her zombie pets would still try and eat her.

I kinda thought the same thing. It makes sense if she had them for a while and kind of broke their will but she was just walking them on some rope behind her from the get-go. Just one of those things you have to roll with I guess.

Anyway.... Thought it was a decent episode. I was never bored. Would have been nice to eatablish where the other groups are.

I think my boredom was because I just don't like Rick and Carl, and was expecting to find out what was up with everyone.

No a whole hour of Zombie slaying would be annoying, just like an hour of character building is. As it turns soap opera ish. It gets stuck moving very slowly sometimes and 3 episodes could have been done in one. Character development can be done at a quicker pace. IMO

I keep seeing some talk about how bad the actors are, and we must be watching different shows. They aren't Breaking Bad Cranston good, but they sure as heck aren't Revolution or Agents of SHIELD bad.

It seems that some still can't wrap there head around the fact that this isn't a zombie movie.

It's a television drama that has zombies in it. The focus is on the people surviving not who gets killed next as the zombies slowly pick everyone off like in your typical (crappy) zombie movie.

I wonder too if the comics have something to do with it. I haven't read them, but if I did my expectations would almost certainly be different.

I also agree with Jerry (scary isn't it?), two episodes could have been condensed into one without losing much. Or possibly do a two hour mid-season premier to catch us up with everyone.

It's not even about that with me, allow me to channel my inner basketball forum for a moment. It's about pace, they tend to make something that could be covered in 30 minutes take an hour.

How rude, I'm not coming to the hug party now. Lol
