The AMC suits are sweating the next eight episodes of The Walking Dead Season 4! Excellent. Unless that's bad.
This TV show is based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman, and it gets pretty gruesome at times. Like, did they really go there gruesome. The second half of Season 4 is going to get particularly "bleak," as Robert has mentioned before, because the former Team Prison is now back on the road. The world has gotten even meaner since the last time they were homeless, which was after the farm was overrun in Season 2. This second half is meant to be closer to Season 1, when they were camping out in the open, going place to place trying to get a feel for what's happening in the world.
There have been times when the TV show has elected to soften some of the comic books violence (no graphic rape scene, thankfully, and Rick currently still has two hands) and it remains to be seen how much of the post-prison darkness the show will explore.
Maybe they are just concerned things could get more gruesome than they're comfortable with on basic cable.
How can it get much worse than when they cut up the walker and cloaked themselves in goo?
I have so many questions.
Why did Carl throw up after killing the three?
Was the twin michonne killed in her head?
What's up with Rick?
And lastly. Maybe it's just me but the zombies seem stronger? I saw three head shots tonight that didn't kill them.
