The Walking Dead

I too have my doubts about Lori being dead. Didn't Carol disappear at some point in the episode? I'm wondering if she doesn't stumble across Lori and stitch her up.

This has been the talk around the water cooler this morning here at work " what happened to Carol " She got out the door and wasn't anywhere to be found at the end.

The only character in this show weaker than T-Dog was what's-her-face from season 1 - who casually opted for suicide for no real reason.

You mean the black woman? hmmm... pattern?

Its kind of sad because this was the best episode T-Dog character had been represented. Otherwise he was whining to Dale about being an outcast or ready to drive off without trying to meet up with the others after escaping the farm.

"I appreciate why you wouldn’t show a young kid shooting his own mother in the head. But as you didn’t, it does raise the question of whether Lori really is dead, dead, dead — in
every sense of the word.

Kirkman- [Laughs] I think we’ve seen enough that we know Carl would not miss from that range.

It is a reasonable question to ask, though.

Kirkman- Yeah. I think the bad version of this show would definitely have a half-alive, half-zombie Lori living in the prison doing all sorts of nefarious things in the background. But, no, that poor child did shoot his mother and, yeah, we’re going to be dealing with that."

Ah, that was a good interview, lots of good show info in there. Carol coming along and stitching her up would have been a pretty lame plot trick anyway, so I'm glad they're going with her being dead.

If Carl did not shoot his mom, we will see Rick go crazy and take an axe to Lori when he goes batsh#t crazy next week.

I am not sure I'm cut out for this show anymore. Having two small boys, one that still kind of is a baby, I just had a tough time watching this one.

How did this episode bother you but the Sophia episode didn't?

the walking dead have appetites, or at least an instinctive drive to feed, why then, do they not defecate?

Yeah, the Sophia thing definitely bothered me. Just something about Carl having to pop his mom in the head and seeing that newborn made me a bit uncomfortable. Also, the bite on T-Dog's neck was pretty nasty.

I think Carl is a psychopath in the making.

Maybe he's just becoming a man but you saw how his dad has been a leader while Shane was kind of crazy(who taught Carl a lot in place of Rick). Rick was a badass and Carl watched him roll around on the ground crying. Carl is more like Shane, nuts. jmo

What if Shane and Lori were knocking boots all along? Maybe would explain why she went all crazy on Rick when she found out he had to kill him. So long whore. hahaha

lol

I was thinking the same thing about her having cheated in the past and Shane being the father. Just didn't want to make my comment too long and drawn out.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case at all. Shane was trying to fill the father role to be with Laurie and said he always loved her. Probably hooked up in the past and out came Carl. Did they say how long Laurie and Rick were together? Maybe she wasn't married yet, was whoring around and chose Rick over Shane after she found out she was pregnant. Carl seems to be more like Shane and I'm not sure it's just because Shane taught him how to shoot guns.

jeez, I ask important questions regarding landscaping and zombie poo and you guys get hung up on who Lori was knocking boots with

Think about the zombies that are cut in half but don't have stomachs. It must just flow right though them.
