The VN workout thread!

have you bought there books? i've got the Ultimate Mass Workout, and X-Beyond. I've read the Ultimate Mass Workout. They have like 4 or 5 diff workouts. I'm doing a monday thru fri. workout. i do it from wed-sun. i swear i've never felt the burn like i do w/ these

I found the Ultimate Mass Workout online and read through the first parts of that. I'm gonna look at the workouts more closely when I have time and see if any will work for me since I prefer to do only 1-2 body parts a day. There's some interesting info from what I've read and glanced over so far.
 
in the ultimate mass workout book, i'm doing the very last one. it's a mon-fri, but is only 3 workouts. ex. mon workout 1, tue workout 2, wed workout 3, thur 1, fri 2. next monday 3, etc. i'm loving it, disappointed today and tomorrow are cardio only days for me. yest i did legs, nothing like working ur legs so much that you feel like you can barely walk

I had a great leg workout last week but two days later I had an exercise science lab where I had to do wall sits with different weights. I was struggling and my BP and HR went up a good bit. I'm sure I looked pretty impressive to people in my class.:ermm:
 
I use Optimum Nutrition Pro Complex. I use bars only when i forget to bring my food to work. Can't handle bars everyday....:puke5:
 
I have the same 'Pure Protein' bars. But never tried the strawberry shortcake. Also mine are only 19-20g of protein ea. I always rack up when they're on sale at Kroger.
 
I'm a little confused on my CellMass. I take it after i workout (which is usually 8-8:30 pm), but it says take the second serving 6-8 hrs before or after your post workout serving (on empty stomach). So that means i either take it right when i wake up, or in the middle of the day, right? Its been a coons age since i've taken a creatine.
 
ya that's correct. i'm taking creakic, green tea extract, fish oil, glutamine and that's it. all natural here
 
if you decide to take it in the middle of the day...how do you swing it? Since I eat every two hours. My stomach definitely will not be empty.
 
i read on the p90x thread that you start doing it in the spring/summer time. Are you still planning on doing that?
 
na i changed my mind, rather do x-reps. my brother who goes to mtsu he's 21 5'11 about 180 just started working back out the last few wks. well he tore his tricep yesterday. asked him how much weight he was doing on lying extensions and he said 45s. no wonder he tore it. what an idiot
 
that's all? 45 lbs? That don't seem like much...was it just a ez curl 45...or 45s on each side?
 
laying down...SS that with a cable kickback...:eek:k:...i did that about 2-3 weeks ago...good stuff.
