Thanks Behr,I put a little water in it. Dad's saying it is bad because he left in inside the stove all night, is it ok?Cool, it was free right?
I've put it on bread as a sandwich.
It's a nice light late snack by itself.
It goes really well with venison.
Nuke a bowl of it, scramble an egg or two and mix in it and while it's still hot, mix some cheese with it. If you have any type of hot sauce.....
Nuke a couple of pieces of bacon and crumble in with it. (works with the egg also)
Mix any vegetable in with it.
Tell your dad to bend over. J/K
If it's still too "crunchy", mix a little water in it now and let it sit for at least a couple of hours. When you heat it, it will cook it a little...if it's not too undercooked.
Let me know if none of that sounds good.
I got a real simple one for cheesy potatos. Get a bag of southern style frozen hash browns (they're cut up into little cubes, not shredded). Get a small box of Velveeta cheese (or a store brand since it's usually cheaper) and a small bottle of Hellman's mayonnaise. Cut the cheese up into about 1" chunks and soften it in the microwave (about a minute). When soft mix it with the mayo and put mixture into a casserole dish along with the potatos. Mix it all up real good until the potatoes and cheese mixture are all evenly coated. Spread out evenly in the dish and cook at 350 degrees until the top starts bubbling and turns a golden brown. If your dad doesn't like that he'll just have to go on the twinkie diet like Kat said...
