u could rub the outside down in a little oil if u want, but typically we just rinse them off and wrap them in a paper towel

u could. or bread it and fry it, if he likes fried chicken. bread it and oven bake it

ask behr, he's smarter at all this than me

i thaw my chicken

one bowl, 2 eggs salt, pepper to taste and beat them
2nd bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper and paprika - i just guestimate, i always do flour first, then paprika, flour, then salt last so i can see how much is in there.....

dip chicken in egg take it out and then dip and coat it in flour mixture

pop it in the oven and bake it, flip it half way.

Thanks Kat, I'll try that tomorrow hopefully. How hot for the oven and how long do you bake it?

lord, idk....maybe 350 for 40 minutes... i just make stuff up. behr can tell u for sure. i'd say fry it in a skillet but if ur heat settings are off you might get the outside too tough trying to get it fried thru

Next time try flour mix, egg batter, then flour mix again and see if it works better for you.

Or flour, egg batter, bread crumbs.

TIFWIW

I've never baked it like that, but her time and temp sound about right for her preparation.

prolly won't take 40 minutes then if it's small pieces.

we typically just do 8 minutes each. you can bake them in the oven if you want, but it's just always more convenient for us to microwave them

Going in the flour first helps the batter adhere to the chicken and allowing a more consistant and even covering.

But like they say, if it ain't broke don't fix it.

i'll try it. won't hurt my feelings you and i'm sure you've done it lots more than i have

Thank you Kat. Would it be better to bread and fry the chicken then, since they're so small?

They're a bag of Tyson boneless, skinless chicken stips

Does it all sound good to you? Bake and bread the chicken, and put a tater in the microwave?

Try it like she said. If I'm grilling, it goes on the grill, any other time it's like Kat said, wrap it in a paper towel and nuke it.

next time buy walmart brand chicken. it's cheaper. and for strips, i'd say 20-25 minutes, ask behr tho, i might be underestimating. if you're doing it in a pan in the oven, spray it with some non-stick cooking spray, no need to use oil. use olive oil if ur pan frying
